We are a fourth generation family business. We specialize in tree care and roofing, but also offer many different services for the exterior of your home. From siding and pavered walk ways to colored mulch there isn't much that we cant do. We offer very competitive rates with the best crew and equipment you can find so we can get the job done right and on time. We are GAF Certified Contractor and because of that we can offer a full 50 year warranty on the shingles we put on your home. Also, we are here to help during any emergency. We have worked every storm that has hit our area from ice storms, tornados to Super Storm Sandy we have the expertise to help and take care of your insurance claims. Very Happy I selected Upstate!! The tree removal is half of the deal. It was the care and the cleanup afterwords - just super. Guys were friendly and very careful - especially with trees next to the house. I had 4 60+ foot trees removed and it was worth every cent with Upstate. You can tell this crew has a lot of experience - specifically the gentlemen who runs the bucket and does the cutting. The owner is professional, friendly, customer service orientated. They did a good job in removing six trees for me and a decent job of cleaning up. The thing I was unhappy about was the ruts they left in my lawn. They say I can call them if the ruts do not correct themselves after a couple of weeks plus some rain. We shall see!

Upstate did an excellent job on my complete tear off and replace asphalt roof job. The estimate was $4,000 less than the next bid. The crew showed up on time each morning. They were courteous, professional and hard-working. The debris was cleaned up each day. The whole process went smoothly from start to finish. I would hire Upstate for my next project.

Very professional and efficient. The crew placed tarps along the side of our house and pieces that landed on the lawn were raked up within minutes. The owner is great to work with; answered all my questions along the way, didnt make me (a female with no roofing knowledge) feel uncomfortable voicing opinions/questions/concerns. The job was done in 2 days and arrived exactly when they said. I highly recommend Upstate Contractors for any of the various services they provide.

Austin, his father, and the others were very professional and easy to work with. My huge tree had power lines going through it which was not a problem for them. They did a great job cleaning up. They also filled in some tire tracks they had to make in the yard to get to the tree with soil and grass seed. BTW, they have a lot of knowledge about trees. I highly recommend them.

Although they showed up when they said and took down the trees discussed, cleanup left a lot to be desired. Tree stumps grinding holes were not filled in properly, tree branches not cleaned up properly. They also damaged another tree in the process of felling the ones we requested and did not properly trim the damaged branches. We repeatedly attempted to contact them in order to rectify the problems and were ignored.

The company did an excellent job in removing a very large tree that was close to my house.. They carefully removed the tree in sections. In addition the large stump was completely taken out allowing me to immediately plant grass in the area where the tree was. Afterwards everything was cleaned up to my satisfaction. The amount charged for the job was in line with other quotations.

My previous review was 5 stars until I went out to my yard to do additional cleanup. I hired another company to take a few more trees down. Upon further inspection, I had them take down 5 trees and no stumps were actually ground which I paid them for. Just the very tops ground to create a fake appearance covered in chips, but brushing away, the stumps are all there a good 4-6 inches above ground. The cleanup was incredibly poor. My woods are thick so you can't tell until walking through them, but there was so many large branches left behind from the trees, including over 15' (I measured) of a 9" diameter pine lying back there. I thought it was good work initially however this new company I hired is going to regrind the stumps for me thankfully. I do not recommend them at all. Stay away.
