I am not one for insincere compliments. In this case, I cannot say enough about the job done and performance shown by Mark. We had a fence installed in our backyard. Mark showed up on time, finished the work fast, cleaned up after, and the price was reasonable. A week after we had the fence installed a tree fell on it, damaged the top bar. Mark came out quickly and charged a nominal fee to fix it. He was great. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Mark and Upstate Fence enough. Not only was he cheaper than the other guys...the fence looks great. Mark also dealt with all the permitting, zoning board and other BS that comes with living in Niskayuna. Mark was great about communication and did everything he said he would, at the price we agreed to. No games, no gimmicks. Very happy and would use again. A++!

If you want return business from him you have your limit. He charges reasonable prices but needed him to complete my fence in stages due to budgeting. When I contacted him to come back to finish the job he stopped communicating with me even after he said he would order the final pieces to complete our fence. He's good at fitting in quick jobs (small fences) but in my experience will not be there to see it through to the end. One positive is he is not afraid of property lines disputes. As long as you know your lines he will do the work.
