Do not do business with this guy. My pool A heater that I purchased from him, which he installed and gave a three-year warranty went out. He lies and will not honor his warranty. Lots of calls, texts and promises to repair never showed up. He will take your money and run. Troy L

Paul makes promises and is a smooth talker, but lied about when he was coming. He did not call or return any calls. He did a sloppy repair job. He took 6 weeks to repair a crack & resurface my pool. He is completely unreliable & dishonest. He swore he would call me back in 5 minutes & I never heard from him again. No way the positive reviews can be real. Avoid this company or you may need to see him in small claims court.

I always love to leave a good review for business I deal with but unfortunately, I have a horrible experience with Paul: Equipment&#s he installed not working properly. He is never on time and lied to me several times Did it fix the leak that I hired him to do? Unprofessional. definitely will call the TDLR or whoever gave them the license to practice this work and will solve the issue in the court if needed.

BEWARE...Great Salesman, Abysmally Awful Execution, Worst experience I have ever had with follow through...READ reviews Taylor was great showing up an hour after I called...seems like a great guy initially...I got you, couple of weeks to do it, pool will look sparkling;. Fast forward to today...I have been trying for 2 months to get Taylor to finish repairs on my pool which I paid $10k. Same Story as many of the reviews. Makes promises and never follows through and you have to hound him to get things. After promising to install and repair a chlorinator and stop by numerous times, he know indicates that it does not work and it is my fault. I have asked probably 10 times for an invoice and has never sent one. Its appalling. I am amazed they run a business and are still licensed.

Got connected. Paul Brandt was very friendly during the estimation and took a deposit. That is the only time he showed up. After 7 no-shows and two months later I am still waiting for the last portion of the deposit. Had to make 4 phone calls and over 10 messages to get a partial deposit. He repeatedly lied and made excuses for delaying the pool heater installation project. Dishonest business, I do not recommend.

As he was doing his leak inspection, he explained his process and what he was looking for or listening for. He was patient with me asking questions.

UPDATE 02/07/2021:Came out twice to repair a leak outside of the pool. Dug up concrete on the opposite side of the pool from the obvious leak no leak found. The second Visit assumed the leak was from the side of the pool near where water was found and replaced some pipes - no obvious leak was ever seen from this area either we foolishly paid him $1500. Once the pool was filled again, water began pouring out again. He would not return our calls or return. We found the leak by digging up from the pooled water to the pool and found a cracked pipe and had it repaired. The last pipe he installed cause the air in the jets. The cause was found by another pool repair person. Paul agreed to arbitration, but he never participated in the call with the arbitrator. It was decided by the arbitration that he should repay us, but that has not happened. Read other similar reviews on Yelp. ***** The technician from uptown pool services attempted to locate the leak in the pool and he fixed two different pipes in error but charged us anyways, the pool continues to leak and we had to hire someone else to fix the problem...

They strive to complete your project on time and if delays happen they are quick to advise and work to things back on schedule QUICKLY. They completed my 110 BTU POOL WATER HEATER INSTALLATION project very quickly and actually handled an expedited purchase of the unit SO that they could get it installed on time. GREAT SERVICE!! THE POOL WATER IS NICE AND WARM AND COMFORTABLE....!!ð ð ¤ ð ºð ¸

Paul, the service tech, who I m convinced runs a one man business, came as a preferred vendor from Select Home Warranty (who is another company I will never ever do business with also). Paul missed the first appointment, didn t even call, just didn t show up. Then he came and pressured me to pay out of pocket for the pool pump service, reassured me that the warranty should cover the work for sure, I meant that s why I paid for it right. He manhandled the pool pump once I finally agreed to pay for the install up front so he could get paid, and my motor was completely seized so I had no choice. Then cracks the neck on the pressure exit pipe, so then left me with the pump replaced but it leaking all over. I told him it was leaking and even offered to give him more work as long as he took care of the job, but he never returned, never called, I never got the money, because the whole repayment was a scam, I recieved $75 out of $600 back, now had a leaking pump, had to pay another tech out of pocket to fix the issue he caused and he never called back or came to fix it when he assured me he would not leave me hanging. Paul is a crook, a liar and scoundrel.

Come out the same day called. Called when they were one hour away and again when they were 15 minutes away

Paul showed up within an hour from the call and fixed my issue.

The work was completed sooner than we had even hoped for. He was great, and we will call him next timeout pool needs attention.

The guy was not on time. My appointment was at 11 am he showed up at 230pm. He raised the price for a simple fix to $100. He tried to get me to buy a new heater when I do not need one. He was not professional at all. He tried scamming me. I really hate I even used this company. Never again!

I enjoyed working with Paul. He kept me informed about the work he was doing. The quality of work was great. I got an estimate Wednesday for all new pool equipment and he did the work the next day. Great job. Five Stars!!!

Paul s was the first pool service to return my request for help. He was professional and extremely competent. My new heater was was up and working quickly.

The technician, Paul, come out at the time planned. Paul was easy to work with, efficient, and professional. I think the price for the work done was competitive and fair. Iâ ll definitely use them again.

Really happy with our pool now. Paul was very knowledgeable and let us know what we should do, cut the BS but offered us options. We went with his recommendation and are thrilled we did. Highly recommend Uptown Pool.

They came out quickly to give the bid. The only concern I had was he did not come back when scheduled and did not let me know what was going on, I had to contact him, twice. However when he did get here the heater was install quickly and the work appears great. I will definitely use the company again for my pool needs.
