About us
Urban Electric and Lighting, Corp., was founded in 2007 when Eddie Urban obtained his C-10 license. For the next several years, he flourished during the hay days of the 2007- 2008's. As with all contractors, business started slowing and by mid 2010 Eddie had a great reputation and a loyal following, however expanding was a challenge. In mid 2010, Terry and Glenda Welch came into the picture and the decision was made to move from Eddie's garage to their current location on Highway 189 and become a full service electrical service company. They incorporated in late 2010 as Urban Electric and Lighting, Corp., and leased the old location of Doctor Herrick.
