Urgent Handyman

Did horrible work, completely messed up our kitchen floors and walls. Will cost us thousands to repair. He won't honor the contract or return our calls. As a result, we are in the process of filing a lawsuit for the damages he caused. Beware!

I sent Mr. Autrey a $400 down payment/deposit several weeks ago. I have been calling him for the past week only to get voicemails (where he does not identify himself.) On the multiple messages that I have left for him, I stated that I wanted to set-up the installation for this Friday, 1/22/04. Mr. Autrey has not returned my phone calls nor has he responded to my e-mail inquiry. At the very best, this type of communication is very poor. I am fearing the worst, however, in that Mr. Autrey could potentially be a criminal scam artist that takes deposits for materials, then skips off with the cash. If that turns out to be the case, my understanding from my attorney is that is criminal fraud, punishable by jail time. As I found Mr. Autrey through this site, do you know the whereabouts of Mr. Autrey? Have you received similar complaints about him? If indeed this is a scam, will you contact the authorities to ensure that Mr. Autrey is arrested and prosecuted under the appropriate criminal fraud statutes? Will you help rectify this situation?

Did an excellent job. Was prompt and accomodating, treated my priorities as his priorities. Insurance inspector confirmed that the job was well executed. Ronnie will be my first call next time.

Job was not entirely completed as repair man did not bring out enough wood for repair work.

Ronnie was a life saver! His response time was fantastic and he worked both Saturday and Sunday to get my countertops built. They look great! We're already discussing him doing some other work for us. I highly recommend Urgent Handyman.
