Arrived on time. Repair was satisfactory but has since had some problems.

Pro Floors of Utah is a contractor that Lowe's uses to do carpet installation. And then Pro floors of Utah "SUBS" all their work to independent crews. Any person coming to your home...is a sub of a sub! You don't know their background, their company name, criminal history and etc. You will not know anything about who you are about to let into your home. Watch out! I had an appointment scheduled for 2/18/2017 between 8:00 am and 10:00 am for installation in my basement for approximately 600 Sq Ft of carpeting. (the other flooring was already done by another contractor.) This job was supposed to be a 4 hour job MAX. They did not call the day before to confirm the appointment. They did not call the day of the appointment. I called Lowe's @ 9:00 asking what is going on. Pro Floors never answered the calls or returned Lowe's calls. They did text the driver/installer and he still did not respond. The installer shows up at 9:15 am with "NO ONE to help"(he is alone to do the job). He starts at 9:45 am. Finishes the tack-strips and the padding by 12:50pm and then says he is going to Lunch. He comes back from lunch at 2:10 pm and starts working. At 4:59 he walks up from the basement and says "I am not done, I will have to reschedule" because he had a dinner appointment at 7:00 and he was not going to miss it. The stairs had no carpeting...just the padding and tack-strips and the 2 rooms he was to do...the carpet was just cut and glued and carpet thrown done. Simply put ...he walked off the job after only working for 6 1/2 hours. They never communicate. They do not return calls. They "EXPECT" you to be available when they are ready. I talked to the owner Branden on the phone (because Lowe's demanded he call me)....simply put... he is an arrogant prick. He does not care. He said "Lowe's will not fire him" and he is so busy with work...any 1 job means nothing. Horrible experience. Stay away from this company. I called Lowe's corporate and complained, they are suppose to call me today to resolve it. The current offer from the store in Riverton UT....$300.00 refund...I don't have to pay for installation! HA HA...they never did the installation. It is still a mess. And Lowe's does not have another contractor to use. They told me to find my own. Arrogance twice over. Watch TV....because I will be taking this issue to the News Broadcasters. Let them all be on TV explaining themselves. Should be great drama filled TV.
