Exception customer service throughout entire process; Erik and Bryan Livingston communicated responsively and often. Their installation crew was very professional and delivered quality workmanship. They delivered what they promised at a very fair and reasonable price as I considered multiple providers. I certainly chose the right company for this work and highly recommend them! The most unprofessional part was after agreeing to fix the system, and being paid Smart Wave held my money for several weeks before sending me an email saying that they would just not be fulfilling what they had agreed to in several written statements and had been paid for. So Iâ ve been stuck waiting for them when I could have had a different more competent company come do the work. I hate to leave this review. This is the second time Iâ ve had to leave a negative review for smart wave. We bought solar panels from a company that sadly is no longer in business called gosolar. The SMA Sunny Boy inverter they installed just randomly drops in production. I contacted SMA who gave me the run around, but eventually referred me to smart wave as their local partner to help with warranty issues. The first time I contacted smart wave they also gave me the run around and after weeks of trying to get the system fixed they sent an email wanting to charge nearly $1,000 just to look at the inverter. They also wanted me to pay a few hundred dollars starting the moment their techs left and the entire time they were traveling. I left a review about all of this and a vice president came over to my house with all sorts of promises, and wouldnâ t leave until I had changed my review. When he did leave the customer service manager Emma went right back to giving me the run around. I worked with SMA to give smart wave complete access to my solar panels. Once every other week I emailed Emma to see what was going on several times with little to no response. When I did receive a response I was told they are looking into it, and should have a solution shortly. That solution never came. SMA is the big bad of the situation, but smart wave isnâ t much better. It has been a nightmare just to get them to come look at my inverter. I am sorry to say that if your looking for a solar power provider look somewhere that isnâ t SMA, or Smart wave solar. If the execs read this, and would like me to provide a better review do what you should have done 5 months ago and send someone out to troubleshoot the system so it can be replaced if needs be. Your company agreed to do so and was paid. An email a month later simply stating that you will not be following through on your agreement is one of the single most unprofessional actions I have ever witnessed. All they needed to do was come here and contact sma to troubleshoot the electronics so SMA could send a new inverter. Instead they focused on the inverters connection. To eliminate that as a potential problem I hard wired the inverter. Smart wave just didnâ t do the work they agreed to. I have screenshots and emails to back all of this up.

I obtained 3 quotes. All were courteous during the sales presentation. Jake at Smart Wave Solar was very informative and new his stuff. Project management kept me informed with the project progress. The install crew was extremely professional, always on time, quick and did a great job. The monitoring software is medium. I was also sold on the 110vac 20amp outlet that ties directly into the inverter. This is a very handy feature.

Celia with Smart Wave Solar definitely went above and beyond in helping us understand and consider the benefits associated with having solar panels installed on our personal residence, which we did on 2021. We're now one year into it and Smart Wave Solar has continued to demonstrate great customer service by providing updates related to the various programs and incentives available for renewables, for example, and they've answered all of my many questions with great patience and diligence. I couldn't say enough good about these guys. They're legit!

I had difficulty finding a company who could deal with an HOA. They did great work. On time...but less than optimal communication about what our electric company would do.

We have been very pleased with the installation of our solar panel system. Everything went smoothly. We selected Smart Wave Solar because: 1. They are locally owned. 2. They offered very competitive pricing. 3. They offered superior warranties and life on the solar panels. 4. They are a debt free company and large enough to be sustainable. 5. When an issued came up, we received immediate attention directly from one of the owners and the issue was resolved quickly. 6. They were transparent and kept us informed every step of the way. 7. They offered an emergency power supply at no extra cost. 8. They were flexible in making last minute changes we requested. 9. They took care of all the permitting and interfacing with the city inspectors and power company. 10. The installation crew members courteous and helpful.

Smart Wave has been amazing. We were about to go with another solar provider when Smart Wave got us a much better deal. The other solar company we were working with offered us a pretty awful deal and only offered to upgrade us when Smart Wave gave us their best deal. All other solar companies that pitched to us, did not even come close to Smart Wave in terms of quality and friendliness. The communication through the whole process was super thorough, any questions we had were answered very quickly, and once all the permits were finished the entire system was installed on the same day. Any waiting that happened was not due to Smart Wave but external factors. My parents have Smart Wave, and we are super happy we got it as well. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking into getting solar, because they are very honest straightforward, and you wont have to worry about shady business like you would from other solar companies.

The best choice I ever made selected to install the solar panel on my roof. They make fast and really professional job to put the panels on my roof I really like it, and now I receiving huge discount on my power bill. I wish everyone will install solar panel whit smart way solar to have good experience like I did. Thanks smart wave solar to save the Earth.

My wife and I had a Zoom meeting with Mike Dempsey back in March. I have been curious about solar power for a while now and decided to check it out. Mike was great to work with and very detail oriented. After seeing his documentation and thinking things over we decided to get solar. We've been in our home now for just over 4 years and new the roof was older so we decided to have it evaluated first and am glad we did. Mike referred us to Far West Roofing and they came out and looked at the roof. They didn't find any issues with it and said it could possibly last another 10-15 years. Since the solar panels last much longer than that, 20+ we decided to redo the roof first and I'm so glad we did, there was wood rot under the shingles and we would have had a major issue sooner than later. Also, with doing the roof first, we won't need the panels removed and reinstalled later after replacing the roof. Far West did an excellent job and was done in 3 days. Once they were done Mike proceeded to get us started and added us to the schedule. It was about a month later when we got the notice that they had an installation date for our solar. The installation process was extremely efficient and completed within one day. Usually this is a two day process they said but ours went without issues so they pushed to finish it. After the installation the City came out to inspect the installation and had one small change that needed done. Smart Wave sent someone out that day to resolve it. The city swapped out our meters today and we are now on solar!!! The City power employee was really impressed with the solar setup we received and was surprised at how quickly it started to generate power as some systems can take a little longer to engage once started up. All in all, this was a great decision that we made and I would do so again without hesitation. Smart Wave Solar is a great company and I would recommend anyone looking for Solar to give them a call.

I requested quotes from 4 solar companies. After receiving them I spoke with each company rep to find out the pros and cons of the type of equipment quoted, its expected performance, warranty, as well as reviewed each of their cost breakdowns. I also rated the sales reps on their knowledge and truthfulness. Based on all of these factors I chose Smart Wave Solar. I was not disappointed in any way with their business dealings, products, or overall experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting solar. From the sales process to the planning to the execution. Every step of the way was professional and the communication was phenomenal. Of course there are delays when dealing with municipalities and utilities, but I always knew where we stood because my project manager (Bethany) always let me know. The day of the build the on site foreman walked me through what would happen, asked for my advice on aesthetics. Everything about the look and feel of the installation screams this was done right and by a company that knows what they're doing. The panels are generating the amount of electricity expected and it's been fun tracking what I'm saving. I highly recommend Smart Wave Solar for all your Solar needs, this is a company that that is going places.

Smart Wave Solar did a superb job of every thing from start to finish with installing my solar panels. After comparing them to many other companies they were by far the least expensive for top quality panels. Even with Covid stuff going on that caused some pinch points they manged to get things done in a reasonable time frame. I am happy so far with my purchase, the service and the over all results of their work. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get into solar.

Smart Wave Solar did a phenomenal job for me. Even amid the craziness of the pandemic, they were able to get everything squared away in time for me to realize the maximum tax benefits. They were a great company to work with and resolved all issues and concerns. I had a lot of questions and a couple of unfortunate events happen during install. (Major hail storm). They were very responsive in communication throughout the project. Any issues caused by the hail storm the company replaced with new equipment. I would go with them again.

I couldn't have been more impressed with a company. The sales person was knowledgeable, non-pushy, and I felt like he had my best interests at heart. The price was competitive and the equipment was the best available. I've had my system for 3 months now and love the way it looks and performs. I would recommend these guys to anyone!
