Getting knowledgeable and timely service along with supporting local companies is a win win for the customer. Being new to the area and finding a company like Var Corp for fireplace service is wonderful and Iâ ll continue doing business with Jimmy for years to come. He takes the time to explain his work or answer any questions asked. Prompt, takes care to limit mess made during servicing and leaves the room as clean as he found it. Jimmy was great. Very friendly, clean, efficient, knowledgeable, and prompt! Cleaned two chimneys and stoves- one for a freestanding wood burner and one for a wood burning insert. Will definitely call him again next year.

Jimmy was extremely thorough and professional in cleaning my chimney . . and most important, unusually conscious of doing so with the utmost cleanliness and care. He explained everything as he went along, showed me the accumulated ash, explained that it was "good" ash, noting that although it was very dirty since I use it every day for 8 months a year, he could tell I burn fine, seasoned wood. In short, of all the chimney sweepers I have used over the past 40 years, he is a standout, and I will be using him once a year from here on,.
