Needed concrete removal done that was smaller than a normal project and it was done the same day they contacted me. Excellent job and I will use them again.

Roberto came in with his father and brother to regrade our yard and add a french drain system. They were all very professional and completed the project quickly and efficiently. Roberto was conscientious about final clean up and even filled in some holes our dogs had around the yard. I highly recommend this company.

When i first saw the word “engineering” I was put off thinking my little job was so far beblow what the title implied. However, when we spoke, the gentleman was so kind. I explained it was a small job me that I needed. He said he would come and take a look. He said they could do what I needed but I got so much more. They excavated a small patch, adjusted my drain, put down weed inhibitor, and covered with rock. I have wanted to do this for years. I am so grateful for this company.

Robert Senior came out for a simple grading quote. Ended up going forward with half our yard. They added artificial turf that we are happy with. Him and his sons also added new drainage. They worked fast and hard to complete the job.

They were on time and worked very hard. They paid a lot of attention to detail. I would definitely use them again.

Robert and his son worked efficiently to grade and spread top soil in our yard. In just a few hours the end result had surpassed our expectations and we couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend this company and plan to call them back for future projects.

The Varela father and son team were awesome. They offered a competitive bid to install drainage and sump pump on my property. They were efficient and knowledgeable in performing the job. I would not hesitate in hiring them for future projects.

No really accurate options to choose from in this review but this company is fantastic. They came out at a moments notice to fix a terrible drainage problem in our back yard. Hard working and really top quality . Hard working and meticulous. Will recommend them every two me!

We had an outstanding experience using Varela engineering. They were knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. They installed the proper drainage system for our property after the previous owner made a mess of the system. We will be contacting them in the future for any other engineering needs!

I highly recommend this company very personal and reliable and knows his work plus his sons are very professional and knowledgeable as well they save my house from flooding and they work in the rain as well I will refer them to my friends and family they did a job well done.

I do not even know where to start. My initial impression of him was not great, but I decided to hire him anyway since he was able to start right away. Horrible mistake. At first, things seem to be going well and they seem to be working really fast. I actually got them business under the impression I was going to get a $500 referral fee. Never got that and in turn, they started working on my neighbor yard without even finishing mine. Telling me her job was pennies compared to mine and would be done in no time. Her small project was completed before my large $40,000 backyard was completed. I will say that there were periods of rain during my backyard renovation, but him deciding to do her yard before finishing mine definitely played into it taking over two weeks longer than it was supposed to. I was also told that they knew where they were doing it when it came to artificial turf. Found out that was not true when they had to hire a professional to help. The entire time he kept telling me how lucky I was and how he was only giving me such a great deal because I was so nice and on time with the payments blah blah blah. It was all BS. he also kept trying to make me feel like he was doing me charity work by doing my backyard at cost. He kept telling me how his sons kept telling him he needed to charge me more but he was not going to. It was super awkward and made me feel really weird that he made it seem as if he was not making any money in my backyard. He repeated this to me multiple times. His initial bid was way lower than what I ended up paying. He kept moving the price up because he did not correctly calculate the amount of rock needed for an area in my backyard. I am now having to have another company come in and fix my artificial turf, which was the main part and the main cost of my backyard landscaping. This is after him promising me that he would fix it and agreeing that it did not look good. He told me not to worry and that he would make it right and acknowledged that the grass was not put in right. He told me he had a whole team he was putting together to come in and fix my turf. A week later he completely changed his attitude and told me that he was unwilling to fix the grass and that I did not know what I was talking about and I could take him to court if I wanted to. I definitely learned my lesson and will only be hiring large companies to do projects for me from here on out. 100% would not recommend.

Roberto is very personable , professional,, and knowledgeable. He listens to client's ideas and wants. He is not afraid to let you know why your plan may not work and give alternate ideas. He and his team were very hard workers and went over and above on everything we asked for including extras we added on. . As an added bonus, they even cleaned up at the end of the project,. They left our property as clean if not cleaner than before there started kicking up dust and dirtt. I cannot sing their praises enough. I highly reccomend this company and wouldn't hesitate to hire them for future projects.

Fantastic work! They were very friendly, professional and honest. We got exactly what we paid for and more. We went in the a budget and them know what we wanted and they made it work and went above and beyond to make it beautiful! I would highly recommend varela engineering!

Their initial bid was quite a bit under the final cost of the job.
