V&A Maintenance Men

I found this contractor who I hired to install vinyl tile flooring and a tub surround. He came in today at 11a and left at 4p to pick up adhesive remover to clean up the adhesive left all over the place with the promise to complete the floor and tub surround on Tuesday. He asked me for 735USD before leaving and I gave him a check for 400USD for half the labor on floors and materials for one days work. At 5p he texted that he could not come back to clean up the adhesive today therefore, I am left with a ruined vanity, toilet, tub and hallway which all have adhesive, and will now be my task to clean up all night the adhesive or replace. Fun times! I have canceled the check and will be finding someone else to complete and repair the damage left behind by your recommendation. I addition the positive review left by Alex S. is one of two who worked for VA maintenance man.

These people provided an ultra-low quote for a relatively simple tree and shrub job, so we withdrew the award from a higher-cost solution. These men may be talented in other areas of maintenance but they are completely under-qualified for the work I had. They damaged their own chainsaws to the place they would not run and did not even have a pair of hedge loppers. I would not recommend them for any landscaping work, nor did they ever come when they said they would.
