VH tree service and landscape

I am writing to formally complain about the experience my husband and I are having with VH Tree Service and Landscape. After selecting this company via Angi s List, we entered an agreement on May 1st for tree removal, trash hauling, tree and stump removal, and oak trimming, total cost $2,300.00. The job was scheduled for May 9, 2026, and we are very disappointed with the outcome. At the conclusion of the job, we questioned why the mulch was not removed and was surprisingly informed that the mulch removal was not included; would be an additional $500.00 cost. This additional cost was rejected. As such, my husband and I removed the mulch on May 11th, and shockingly discovered that the tree stump was not completely removed. This is unacceptable. The delay is now affecting our landscaping project. We immediately contacted VH Tree Service and Landscape, 786-450-8521, shared the effect of this delay, and was informed that they would return to complete the job on May 17th. It was a no-show. Upon calling and via text on 5/18 they informed that another job took longer than expected and they would not be able to come until the end of the week and promised that they will be informing of the new date. Sadly, the company never called which is very unprofessional. Over the next two days, we tried to contact the company numerous times, but our calls were ignored. This is an extremely unacceptable business practice. In one last effort, my husband and I called today, May 22nd; again no answer. Thereafter, followed with a text message and received a response stating the machine is broken, trying to fix as soon as possible. After giving VH Tree Service and Landscape chances to make it right, it appears that they have no intention of completing the job and is deliberately avoiding us. To resolve the problem, we are simply requesting the complete removal of the tree stump within 7 days as VH Tree Service and Landscape was hired to do, or issue a $500.00 refund to cover the expense of securing another tree company. We are eagerly waiting to move forward with our landscaping project.

I can't say enough about my experiences with VH Tree Service. The Owners, Huriel and Christopher Hernandez, are so professional, and so is their team of workers. Also, when they tell you they'll be there at 8 am, expect them there promptly. I would recommend their service to anyone without hesitation. They are simply the best in town. As a bonus, they also speak Spanish and English fluently. A+++

Uriel and his team at VH tree service did a great job. I had couple of trees that was taking over my back and front yard. They removed those trees down to the roots that was crawling all through my yard and depose of them as well at reasonably price. I will be contacting him again and sharing his info with family and friends.
