VIP Pool Services, LLC is a locally owned and operated business with over 20 years experience, specializing in comprehensive leak detection and repair. We also provide diving and dye test service and repair, plus extensive troubleshooting and/or repair for all electrical and computerized systems. During the hot summer months, it is sometimes difficult to know whether your water loss is from normal evaporation or from a leak in your pool's plumbing system or shell. We can help you determine whether or not you have a leak OVER THE PHONE WITHOUT PAYING A SERVICE CALL! If you determine that there is a leak, we have the equipment that can pin-point the leak so that there is minimal disruption of your system. We are factory trained with over 20 years in the pool and spa repair business, which assures you that our work is backed by knowledge and experience. We are a complete repair company servicing all brands of heaters, pumps, motors, filters, and purification systems.

The tech came out a day late and unannounced. He started telling me that I have am using a bad brand of equipment (Hayward pump) and that the guy who cleans my pool does not know what he is doing. Also that I cannot have the problem I am having based on what I told him. He said all of this before looking at the pool. It was also agree on the phone that he would fix a broken sprinkler. I asked if he will be doing this he said he heard something about that but does not have time today. The phone rep called me for payment. I paid and asked about fixing the sprinkler line she said he can come out sometime when he is in that area but they do not know when. Not very good customer service.

I have used a pool company in Denton, TX for over 14 years, but lately when I need pool repair or service, it takes several days to get someone scheduled. I have used HomeAdvisor for my last 2 home repairs and decided to do the same for my pool needs. Shellie with VIP was very courteous and responsive to my needs. I have same day appointment to access the problem and then she worked me into the schedule for next day repair. She was very concerned my pump was not working and the TX heat wasn't helping. Repair was performed, in and out. I will use VIP again.

They did a great job on the work. The only problem we had was with the communication. We had to insist on a personal visit when the price changed from $550 to $2700 between the estimate and start date. This was due to damage caused by extreme cold weather but none the less we wanted to spend some time with the contractor that was not on the phone or email. He agreed after we expressed grave concern and the work was completed to our satsifaction.

I requested a diagnostic and general once-over for our 10 year old pool equipment. They came out promptly, called me with their suggestions, and didn't try to convince me to replace still functional pieces. We agreed on the scope of the work, they did it promptly, and the final bill was actually less than the estimate. How often does that happen?! You gotta like that.
