Valley Drilling drilled a back up well on our property and installed a small underground pressure tank so we would be sure to always have water on our horse farm. This system has failed more times than I care to count since it's been installed, often due to the complete incompetence of the installers. In one instance, the pressure tank was installed sideways instead of upright (in disregard of the very clear instructions in the installation manual). They sent us a bill for the labor to replace it - we asked them to void that invoice given that it was a direct result of faulty installation and they did. In several instances, the circuit boards (which they installed underground) failed because water got on them (what?); and so on. I called them today not to ask them to send another incompetent crew for repairs but to let them know that I am looking for another company to come fix this.

Woke up at 4:30AM to find out we had no well water to the house. Called Valley Drilling at 5:30AM (answering service relayed call) based on previous well repair service at another property a few years ago. A two-person team showed up on schedule at 8:00AM and the problem was solved - the well pump by Gould had failed (about 11 years old or so). The Valley Drilling Corp team pulled a 408 foot well pipeline out of the ground. They replaced the wiring, the wiring brackets, and added 360 feet of new wiring. The new pump is a Pentair. By12:00 noon we had water to the house again! Water...you don't know what you've got til its gone! A most outstanding effort by the Valley Drilling Corp team.

The top of my well was rusted out. My dogs made that happen after after a few years of making that their favorite spot. After a few words from me they new what the problem was and what to do to fix it even before they came to the job. Charley asked one question - do you have a dog? The crew dug down and cut out the rusted section and replaced the top section with a nice new piece of pipe. (Oh yeah I will keep the dog away!) All you can ask for is a team that are skilled professionals who know what they are doing, are friendly, courteous, show up on time and charge a fair price.

They provided in layman's terms the nature of the problem and what would be involved in restoring the service as well as the estimate to repair both in time and costs. After providing me this information, they gave me the option of seeking a second opinion if I was not satisfied with their estimate. I appreciated that they respected my decision to pursue a second opinion and felt that they were being up-front and honest. I would definitely contact them again for issues affecting my water supply system.
