Someone called immediately and came out the day I placed the job. However, he tried to wash all the windows with Windex and paper towel. When I questioned him about this, he said that he got better results that way. The results were not good. We have large view windows now with streaks. I was only charged $80 for a job tha usually would be about $150-200. Still, I would have preferred to have it done correctly.

I didn't meet Doug in person. All of our business was done over the phone. That was because I live an hour away from my rental property. Doug seems to be a nice guy and easy to work with. However, I was shocked to find out after he had done some work for me (get rid of trash like an old chair, old workout equipment, etc. that my former tenant had left in the side yard) he had left an old tire in the side yard and he had left trash on the garage floor. It was obvious that these items should have been removed. When I called him and asked about it, he said that I hadn't told him to take it away. That was ridiculous.
Response from Valley Wide Handyman Services
"It is true I did not take the tire and trash as stated above, I was not told to remove these items with the first visit. I did return and remove the items as the customer requested. I also made three trips to home depot and paid out of my own pocket for the custom blinds that I installed for this customer, I as reimbursed almost two weeks later. I did not charge for all the gas and mileage for the trips to home depot. Not sure what else I could have done to make this customer happy, he seemed to want everything and wanted to pay very little. I always do everything possible to make my customers happy! Douglas Walker Valley wide handyman!"
