This gentleman was EXCELLENT! I needed the job done in a hurry. He got here on Friday, the day after we spoke. He was going to get me the appraisal on Monday, which I thought was very fast. But he got it to me on Saturday. Wow! It was thorough, complete and just what I needed. He was professional and compassionate. (The appraisal was needed for estate filings after the recent loss of a family member.) He was informative. And he was quick. On top of that he gave me a 14% discount because I used Home Advisors. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you.

Value-Rite Appraisals, Inc. came to the property and all seemed to be going well. I waited patiently 17 days for his appraisal (it was an unique property) and after waiting patiently, it seemed to me that the appraiser did not even remember the property and hadn't worked on the appraisal at all. One tip for pros: please tell the homeowner if you are uninterested in the work...it would have made everything so much easier and i would not have wasted 17 days for an appraisal that was not in the works.

"The owner didn't understand that this was a very complex property with many units. It takes time for a property that is complex such as this one. Never committed to a time frame as to when it would be completed. Wish you well on getting this complex property appraised. Kathleen, I did work on the property and it was about completed when you pulled the plug on the work. I never collected money from you. I did all this work for free. Perhaps you didn't want to pay for the appraisal."
