Not sure why this wonderful wood flooring company not reviewed more often here. They did our wood floors after extensive shopping and comparison. They put in the most beautiful solid wood floor cheaper than all the component floors I looked at. They are absolutely stunning. We worked with owner Bill and his installer, Nick. I have no hesitancy recommending this flooring company for any wood floors someone needs done. If I could give them ten stars, I would. After reading the review under me, I am going to add one more thing. Bill Van Patten is a true wood craftsman. He is an artist with wood. He is not a flooring company with secretaries, receptionists, showrooms and salesmen. If he doesn't answer your call immediately, he is in the shop or out of the country. Consider yourself lucky if he takes your job.

I believe I already sent an evaluation. Initial contact was positive, job started according to plan. Bill did not remove all the baseboards before laying the floor, This was a mistake, damaging some later when inserting boards under the baseboard. I objected to the look of three short boards being laid in a series, but no attempt was made to change. Chris was careful in placing the glue, but Bill was messy, getting much glue on the wood surface, some on walls and on carpet, and not cleaning it up immediately. Later it was hard to remove - he went over it 3 times but still spots remained. Final clean up could be better.
