Vander Hyde installed my HVAC and failed to pull the permits. I only discovered this because approximately 18 months later, another mechanic noticed it. When I had the building inspector come out, the HVAC failed inspections with 13 things done wrong. I had Vander Hyde come out again, and once again they failed inspections. This time they had not completed all of the required work on the unit with two things that still were not taken care of. When I got Vander Hyde to come back out to my house, once again the mechanic did not do all the required work. When I questioned him about it and told him what the building inspector email stated was required, he told me that he **did not give a darn about my email** and called me a god darned liar. When I asked him to show me what work he did, he stormed out of my home in a huff. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The worst thing about this is after the work was completed the first time, I called the owner and stated that the work did not look right. The owner himself came out and told me that there was nothing wrong with the work. The owner happens to be a mechanical inspector for the City of Grand Rapids.
