This seems to be a company full of promises, but its all a smoke screen. First, they do an estimate, which is just a game to low ball the figure until they get the job. Then the reality sets in once they pick up your stuff, including upcharging for the true size of your shipment, which they had estimated 50% below what it really was. They then inflate the bill based on their rate. Unless your willing to tell them to drop the shipment completely, your stuck. We paid them for packing, which would have been money completely lost. Your stuck. Essentially the promises are designed simply to get you in the door. Then they have a different tune once they have your household items on their truck. They told me they would accept my American Express card as payment. But that was a misrepresentation. Then they act as if I am a dead beat while I am traveling cross country. I get a wire transfer sent to them. Once they got the money, they did not know me again. When I called them to deliver the household to specific address, they spent two weeks doing essentially nothing. They were not willing to confirm anything via email, which made me continually follow up because I did not believe them. At that point, I was given a verbal confirmed delivery date, but that was a lie. I sent a confirming email to them memorializing the phone call. Two days prior to the delivery date, I received an email that said they would not make the delivery date. When I called them to find out what was happening, I was told that there was a miscommunication between them and the driver. They told me that the household had already been loaded and was on its way, but that the delivery day was delayed by 3 days. I told them I had arranged for various people to provide services based on that date. They told me that they would consider some sort of compensation for that, if I supplied paperwork. It turns out that the household was still sitting in their warehouse In California and had not been loaded. They had not yet even hired a driver yet. In fact, the household was not loaded onto the truck until at least one or two days after that. I received a phone call from the driver several days later, who was having problems with some other customers of theirs. He was saying that it would take at least 2 more days after the delayed date because of these other customers. I then got beat on regarding payment again, now they knew me because they wanted my money. Now, they dont take any credit card, company check, nor cashier's check. Instead, its either cash or Postal Money Order. When the household arrives, it turns out that about half the household inventory was not even done by them. They made it impossible to check any inventory or determine whether everything was present. Even the driver was concerned because he was worried about being held liable by them. During the unpacking, we found a destroyed book case, looks like it was hit by a forkli
