Elissa and Jose and crew performed as the first rate professionals they are. The sidewalk and patio came out great and the clean-up after was first rate. Would hire Vargas Concrete in a heartbeat.

Great experience. Our large patio with a step was complete within a couple weeks of first contacting Vargas construction. They have a great eye too for how they curved the patio around the space, even paying attention to keeping up an appealing curve in the seams. They are highly knowledgeable about their craft. Not only offering options/advice on our new project (along with care tips for its longevity), but they offered advice with our front drive regarding care and upkeep we could be doing ourselves. From start to finish, they're easy to work with. I can easily recommend them to anyone with a concrete project.

I have a contract with Vargas Concrete signed on 9/17/2019 for work in Sublimity, Oregon. It is a small job but has yet to have any work started with half the project money down. Rated lower on customer service because we would be told they would be here at a certain time and day and wouldn t show until the next day. Other than that we were happy with this company and would use them again. 😀😀😀

I hired this company based upon cost alone. They were competitive and very punctual with the bid. I had concerns after the forms were placed but before the concrete arrived. They came out the same day and explained everything to me. They were patient and good natured despite the fact that I made them come spend more time on the job than they needed to. When the day of the pour arrived, the crew arrived and promptly got to work. They were very efficient and professional. They were also happy! They were the type of professionals that are so good at what they do that they can have a good time AND put out a fantastic product! There were no hidden charges, no surprises. Quite simply, a beautiful example of expert craftsmanship and a family owned and operated business that takes pride in the finished product they deliver. I had planned on pouring another patio in my backyard and doing the work myself, however, it is evident that I couldn t possibly dream of performing nearly as well as they did, and the price is right. They will be back for my next project! This is the company you are looking for!

Agreed to a contract, Vargas dumped load of gravel blocking driveway then failed to do any work. Guanteed digging, forms and gravel would be completed an gravel gone in 2nd days. A week later still no work done. Very argumentative, failed to communicate and ignored our calls. My opinion is anyone who hired this outfit will be extremely frustrated and lucky to get anything completed. Can't say anything about their work because did nothing.

Sloped driveway, long sidewalks and poured new concrete along side the house. Replaced drain pipes. Responsive, easy to work with, competitive bid and knowledgeable on local zoning rules and what city inspectors look for in the sidewalk-driveway portion. Good experience and were able to accommodate us with our tight schedule.
