Ed gave a fair price, showed up on time, and got the work done in a timely manner. He is a very pleasant person to deal with, and his crew are hard working and professional. They did a beautiful job replacing my back patio concrete. I would use them again without question.

I must say this was as good as it gets, Variety Construction was efficient and very professional. They kept in contact with me throughout the whole process of removing asphalt and laying a new concrete driveway with brick ribbons. I was surprised at their efficiency. Asphalt was removed and hauled away in one day along with grading of the driveway, The job was completed in time frame quoted. Now just waiting for the concrete to cure. They arrived early and worked tirelessly. The driveway looks great and has improved the curb appeal tremendously. Mr. Talavera was personable and considerate and did not try to expand the project with services and supplies not needed. I will recommend this company to anyone wanting concrete work done. In addition, for future projects I will call him first. Received several complements on the project even before completed.

Ed and his crew did an excellent job. I had a well-worn asphalt driveway removed, then a new concrete drive was poured and finished. Skillfully done and with great customer service.

Ed managed the project well to ensure timely completion. The project involved removing old concrete and a rock wall where a spa used to be and expanding our current patio. Ed came up with ideas how to create transitional elements with some of the stones and pavers from the existing patio are and we are very satisfied with the end result. Should we need this type of service again, will happily use Variety.

Mr. Talavera is a real professional. He always returned my calls in a timely fashion, answered my questions thoroughly and his crew is efficient and punctual. They did a great job for us, which was about 1900 square feet of demolition of used brick and saltillo tile pavers that were intsalled over concrete. After the demo they leveled the ground and poured new contrete in our back and side yards; and it looks great. We plan to hire Variety Construction again to install slate pavers in our patio area.

I received bids from Variety and 4 other companies to repair an improperly installed paver job around my pool. Variety was fairly priced and very descriptive. The owner Ed came to the site personally to evaluate the situation and provided insight into how he would go about fixing it. After a nightmare with the original I was very hesitant and skeptical about working with any contractor. Ed was very understand of my concerns and guided me and my wife through each step of the process, promptly addressing any questions or concerns as they arose. The end job looks good (considering they did the best they could with the hand they were dealt by the previous company that screwed up so badly). I would highly recommend Ed and Variety as they are competent, hard working and honest...traits that are hard to come by with most contractors.

Ed entirely redid our backyard and driveway with pavers, refinished our pool and put in new pipes in the backyard. His team arrived early and Ed supervised the job watching everything closely. The work is beautiful and the cost was ver competitive. I recommend him very highly.

I really liked Ed. All his staff were courteous and helpful. They were hardworking and thorough. The only quibble I had was that they placed a lot of the excess dirt on my garden pathways which were made of decomposed granite. They did this without obtaining my consent and I just finished today trying to get my paths back to normal. I think it was an attempt to be helpful and build my paths up, but it wasn't necessary and in fact caused me a lot of extra work. However, other than that, I am very satisfied with their work. I would highly recommend them. We are enjoying our driveway.
