Contacted Homeserve for issues with my sewer. Dealt with a few people over the phone since then and everyone has been nothing but helpful. They sent someone out to my home quickly. Am satisfied with my experience.

This review is not based on how well VP's work is performed because they do not do anyrhing, but one that highlights the ability for a serviceman to assess the situation and respond to it.  My oil furnace would fire up to then shutdown after 5 seconds. It was Midnight and immediately called for service, someone answered, and scheduled an appointment for first thing in the morning.  This was relieving because it was 20 degrees outside and keeping my family warm and preventing pipes from freezing is top priority.  The serviceman was friendly, kindly played with my dog, accurately navigated their digital quote form, swiftly charged my credit card for the visit, provided a quote for $10,000 to replace the furnace, and advised to get it up and running would be a waste of money.  A choice that he determined, not me. At this point my house temperature dropped to 40 degrees so I had to call another company or fix it myself.  There is no denying my furnace needs work, but it's my decision to limp it along during the winter. Another service company responded and got the furnace running again. The only money I wasted was the $59 on VP's visit. 

Bit expensive still recommend
