Our dream livingroom started with the need for storage and a wish to personalize our home to our tastes. A couple trips to home goods stores later and our initial need for storage became an idea to transform our room to a place we could really love to be in. I drew out my plans, met with several contractors, but ultimately decided on Mr. Vastine due to his professionalism, enthusiasm, and proven record. His pricing was competitive with other contractors but it was his overall pride in his work and crew and attention to detail that swayed us his way. We love the painting and woodworking that was completed but it was the fireplace that truly made the greatest impact, for us. Victor is a master at his craft, he was respectful of our space, timely, and cleaned the workspace throughout the day. He is a true professional and did amazing work on our fireplace. We enjoyed meeting with everyone we worked with but Victor, Cindy, and Charles were truly a pleasure to collaborate and work with. Charles Vastine has an excellent company and top notch employees. Cindy who I believe is 2nd in charge, is amazing at what she does! We recently moved to this state and the house we bought had some pretty worn carpet all throughout the house. Cindy was so helpful, explaining how the remodel would work. They came in and tore out all the carpet and put in tile! Cindy was very patient answering all our questions and is just an overall wonderful person! The job started much sooner than I thought they would be able to do and was completed in a week! There was a lot of floor to tile! The two men who came out and did the work were excellent! They also answered a lot of questions for us. They were very friendly and professional! Charles has an excellent business and I will recommend them to everyone! We used Vastine Remodeling & Construction (VRC) to repair the damage from a broken water line during the February 2021 winter freeze. We enjoyed working with the VRC team who completes both remediation and remodeling of our kitchen, living room, front room, and hallways. The stress of a major event such as a house flood is insane, but tack on stress from insurance, contractors, potential displacement from your home, and lengthy materials delays just compounds the stress into crippling fatigue. Its important to have a solid team with whom you can communicate and rely on to help get you back on your feet. The team at VRC was excellent at helping with our stress levels during this trying time. Cindy, the show room manager, was invaluable to our cause. She professionally addressed our questions and concerns, treating us with the upmost care and patience. Her ideas for our floor plans and designs were wonderful and provided us with a gateway to the eventual final design. She was flexible and adaptable to our own issues (we work in education), but completely respectful of her team and mediated successful working schedules. We probably drove her nuts with our questions and worries (this was our very first experience with such a project), but she was the ultimate mentor and guide to have. Charles, the owner, also provided invaluable service by being flexible with team scheduling and payment timing. He visited the house numerous times to ensure quality work and to provide updates on material delays. He is also an incredibly approachable professional who is excited and passionate about what he does. His enthusiasm is contagious and helped to ease the enormous amounts of stress we faced. Would I use and recommend VRC in the future? Absolutely. Our experience was just another example of the professionalism, skill, and kindness that Charles, Cindy, and the VRC team have been bringing to the community for years.

Our entire first floor was flooded due to a frozen pipe. Charles and his team were able to quickly start mitigation to keep mold from spreading and reduce severity of damage. We ended up having to replace drywall, tile and completely renovate bathroom and kitchen. We worked with Charlesâ s team on drawings to create new custom floor plans for both. Their team handled everything from start to finish. We are beyond happy with the finished product and receive tons of compliments on the quality. We would definitely use Charles again and recommend him to our friends and family.

Vastine Remodeling will be our go to for all renovations from now on, and they should be yours as well! We hired a company to turn our bath and shower into a full walk in shower and it was a disaster from the get go. I finally terminated that contract and began searching for someone qualified to the major screw up. Charles with Vastine Remodeling responded in a few minutes and had a reasonable quote to me within 1 day. His team was extremely professional and friendly to my family and I. It wasn't long before you could consider these guys friends. They were awesome day in and day out, and worked nonstop until the job was complete. Carlos, the tiler, is an expert in his field. His attention to detail shows in every aspect of his work. From the way he carries himself, to the work he does, he is top notch! Cindy in the showroom was very attentive and helped throughout the entire process, from tile and grout selection, to ensuring we were in the know throughout the entire project. And the helpers were also professional and very helpful in ensuring a safe and clean workspace for them, and living space for us. Do not hesitate to give them a call! Vastine Remodeling did a wonderful job on my dining room. They had to tear out the door, rebuild the structure, waterproof, install tile, and finish out a wall between the kitchen and dining. I could not be happier with the nice work, and the big open space my family has now to gather. Charles and his team were always available and kept their deadlines. The big trash dump he brought was helpful in keeping the mess to a minimum. All of his employees were professional and kind. I highly recommend Vastine for your next construction project.
