Jose contacted me and gave me a quote the same day I had entered my needs in the Home Advisor. Work was completed within a few days of scheduled date. Project was completed in a professional manner. Jose's crew cleaned up everything when done. I highly recommend this company.

After getting several estimates, i hired Jose and his team to repair the cracking concrete on the flagstone patio around the pool. He was the most reasonably priced and seemed very knowledgeable. He was VERY reliable...came to my house when he said he was going to. He and his team spent two days completing the work around my pool. He went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. I would definitely recommend him. I would feel confident having him do stonework and landscaping in the future. In addition, he is a very nice man.

Jose & Velarde Landscaping gave the best price & suggestions to get the job done correctly. He had samples of pavers to help us make the right decision. Jose's workers are true craftsmen. They showed up on time & did an excellent job. It was a large job taking all the pavers up around the pool, installing a new border, realigning the pool deck & recreating a new pool deck with added design. He checked in with us each step of the way, insuring we were satisfied. Looks better than the original! They were neat, professional and real craftsman.We are very satisfied & would highly recommend them.

I placed my name in the ServiceMagic system and within a few minutes Mr. Velarde called me. He promptly made an appointment for the next day. After explaining my project he was able to calculate and give me a written estimate on this first meeting. Since I had already had some estimates I gave him the work right away. He immediately went to the township to get code clarification and permits. He made it so easy for me. He started the work on the very next Monday and completed it by the end of the same week. Mr. velarde and his crew were very focused on making sure the work was completed promptly and with my total satisfaction and needs in mind

Jose and his crew worked tirelessly on my backyard installing sod, stone and mulch for gardens and play area. All work was done in 1 day. Our backyard never looked so good! And by the looks of the cleanup, one would never know all the materials were on my driveway. Great cleanup. Thanks Jose and crew.

Jose and his crew showed up promptly and did a great job reseeding our lawn. Jose made some good suggestions about how to care for the lawn and promised to come back in a few weeks to check on the grass.

My project was a repair job of the front walk and curbing caused by an auto accident. Jose and his crew did such a great job in repairing the damages that I asked his advise on the improvement of the back yard and repair of side steps. Jose quickly assessed the projects and gave me a great price on a new set of steps, new top soil for my lawn and garden, as well as pavers for a garden border and walk way. His in depth knowledge of landscaping materials, prices and where to get "good" top soil, along with his professionalism lead to a great experience. Jose did alot of extra chores to help me.

Velarde did an excellent job on my walkway/path all the way around the back of my house and by pool. He showed up when he said he would, and worked n a timely, efficient manner until job was done, and cleaned up his mess. Very happy with the job, and m really hard to please!

Jose & co. did a terrific job reparing my stone area at the head of the driveway. Beautiful work and the area was left as clean as when they started the job. The work also included power washing of my front porch, front walkway and pool deck area. The area looks like new! I was diffficult to contact and Jose remained persistent, both calling and texting as necessary. Arrived on time and the job was comparable to the cost. Highly recommend Jose & co.!

Good, Good, HORRIBLE!!! At first, from the initial phone to call to the actual meeting to go over what I wanted for my yard, was an amazing experience. Velarde was the first (and only, even though servicemagic sent my info to two other landscapers) to contact me, meet to go over the design, and even got the job started the next day. Velarde came in removed my old lawn (Zoysia), reseeded and also picked up my old mulch, and put down new mulch. Lawn needed to be reseeded since there were bare spots and he promised to come back, five phone calls later, NOTHING!! The mulch he put down also began growing mushrooms and little spores and weeds
