Drywall - Repair
Walter came in gave me a quote for $2100. I told him that I need this repair to be repaired to code. He came in to take away the rotten wood. He was late the 2 times that he came to my home. The second day that he was here he said after 3hrs that he was done. That concerned me. The walls were closed up so I could not see the work that was done. I asked him to open my second-story wall. He opened it with hesitation. When he opened the wall and removed the installation that he put in I saw that he did not do the job at all. All he did was leave the damage and covered it with the installation and the drywall. I have before and after pictures. I am now out of $1000. ( this was the down payment ) I feel terrible. I trusted Angis list to protect me from situations like this! I would not recommend this company they are dishonest. This man Walters response to this job was... I did not know that you wanted to code. Not only was it not up to code, it was not done at all! Now, I am out $1000 and a big mess in my house.
