I loved working with Steve. He was pleasant and caring. He communicated well (which is important for any contractor). We had a second story deck that required a tear-off and an existing shed that needed to be taken down. He had a respectful workers. I'm hoping I can post a photo so you can see the quality work Steve is doing. If you're considering this contractor for outside work...get started early in the spring. He's in high demand and can only take on so much work for one summer. I'd call him again if I need more work like this done. BTW, I found him on Home Advisor....Thanks for being here.

We have all had some bad experience with a building contractor that has made us to some degree gun shy. Steve Mortaloni of 5 O'clock Decks will reaffirm your faith that there are still great guys out there who do excellent work at a reasonable price. The deck he built is exceedingly well designed, and looks as though it is a logical extension of our custom designed house. After it was completed it was hard to imagine the house without it. The materials and construction were first rate. His experience allows him to complete the work with impressive efficiency. I couldn't be happier with the deck, the process or my dealings with this company. Steve Mortaloni is a standup guy and superior craftsman. If you want the work done right, at a fair price, you cannot go wrong with 5 O'clock Decks!

Steve was a pleasure to work with. He listened to all of our questions and took the time to answer all of them. He did a great job on our deck at a fair price.

This is without question the best contractor I have used. Steve is a great person with whom to work. He rebuilt our deck and I was completely satisfied. He would always tell me when he would be on the job and if he could not make it he called the night before to say when he would be there. His charges were very reasonable. I recomend him highly.

The owner is very excited about our project and went into more detail when building our deck than we even expected! We were very impressed with the communication and how much we were kept in the loop!

Existing deck supports were rotting after 20 years....they were replaced in the time in a timely manner and at the quoted price...The contractor was consumer oriented and answered all my questions...

Great builder, they did exactly what we expected and agreed upon at a reasonable cost. A great point with Forever Exteriors is that the owner actually does a lot of the work with his crew. I would highly recommend them. Great job guys!
