Repaired leak in Kitchen Sink - Opened/cleared clogged Master Bath Sink - Unable to repair Master Bath Shower Tower; did not have the requisite skill; did not call for assistance from others at Vernco. - Installed cut-off to Master Bath; but does not work ... when switch is opened, water sprays out all over. Shower and commode, affected by the cut-off switch, in Master Bath remain unusable; husband pees into the Master Bath sink. Description of work: - Repaired leak in Kitchen Sink - Opened/cleared clogged Master Bath Sink - Unable to repair Master Bath Shower Tower; did not have the requisite skill; did not call for assistance from others at Vernco. - Installed cut-off to Master Bath; but does not work ... when switch is opened, water sprays out all over. Shower and commode, affected by the cut-off switch, in Master Bath remain unusable; husband pees into the Master Bath sink. All efforts to call, message, even Private FaceBook msg, Vernco, who came in January to perform work resulted in no response, leaving our Master Bath unusable for 5 months. (My husband's pain/suffering was huge as he was recovering from knee replacement surgery January 2017 and denied access to the Master Bath shower and commode the entire 5 months. He could only sponge bathe himself. He was forced to pee in the Master Bath sink or use the commode in the hallway bathroom ... but could not access the hallway bath/shower due to the high sides of the Jacuzzi tub ... could not safely enter the Jacuzzi due to the knee's condition and the pain meds.) When we tried to arrange help from the original installer [2012], we were denied because that firm felt the plumber who caused the damaged should return because "it is customary for plumbing companies to warranty their work for at least a year after service was made." And others we contacted did not work on tower type showers. Finally were able to locate an exceptional plumbing firm, which recognized our seriously dire plight and immediately came to our rescue. Very impressed with the professionalism and humanitarian understanding of the new technicians, called in to help us recover from damages suffered by Vernco. After their assessment and analysis of the state of our MasterBath, we learned that we had indeed been damaged by the destruction of our Master Bath Tower Shower and poorly installed cutoff done by another firm, and cracked damage to the pipe supporting the commode. (Vernco refused to cure the problem, would not respond to any/all calls, messages, and voice mails since January 2017. Even avoided Home Advisor's Resolution Team attempts to reach them.) Leaving my husband to suffer while trying to recover from the surgery by the other firm was mean and vindictive. NEVER WILL RECOMMEND THIS FIRM FOR PLUMBING SERVICES.

Young man was very professional, skilled and hard working. He was able to meet challenges of this job with little difficulty. Will definitely use this company again.

First visit was on time. Needed to order parts from Koehler . 2nd appoint in two weeks to repair . Called three time, first time Joe the plumber, who came the first time, told will be there at noon . Did not show up. Called spoke with father, he said he is going to call Joe and see what he says. Never called back . Called the third time left massage on his answering machine. Never returned the call. Now, made appointment with another plumber.

Scheduled for between 10 and 12. Said I was second on the list. After several excuse calls he finally showed up at 3:30. After he put in faucet he said the trap was leaking (it wasn't leaking before) and he said it would be another $120 to install new trap. When I complained because he just installed trap he said he could do it for another $80. I(don't mind paying for new trap but installing twice) Also plunger works very hard and he said Oh it's plastic they don't work very well. Cant give good rating and certainly would not hire again.

The basic plumbing work was fine. BUT-A two hour job turned into a two day job (wife took a day off from work on the 2nd day to be home). Day 1-He forgot a major tool so he could not complete the work and we needed to schedule another day.. He had to cut a hole into drywall behind the tub and said he would put a metal panel over the hole. BUT, he had to make a larger hole to do the work and he did not have a panel large enough to cover the hold. So I've got to do it. Day 2-He forgot his vacuum cleaner, so the drywall dust, bathtub work, basement water-valve work and water needed to be cleaned up by me. He was not wearing foot covers thus dragging in dirt (the day after we had had the house professionally cleaned). Finally, he left his "water cut-off tool" in our front sidewalk man-hole (where he turned off the water to replace main water valve). The T pipe was sticking out of the ground by the curb with the man hole wide open. Think about that scenario-a neighbor walking his dog steps into that hole in the dark and breaks his leg. He did not clean up after his work and he could not/would not do all that we asked him to do (installing a new drain stopper into our tub so again, I've got to do it-what did I hire a plumber for??) and we paid him what he asked for. Not a second time however.

Quick turn around on the scheduling - showed up the next day and completed the work that day. The job was on the higher end of the cost scale, but the work was quality.

It took several attempts to get the appointment scheduled and their truck broke down one day when they were on the way, but once they arrived the work got completed correctly and quickly. They also found and repaired an issue with the main water shutoff valve that hopefully will head off future expensive repairs. The pricing was reasonable. There was a bit of drywall left on the basement floor that they should have cleaned up, but that was minor.

They were rather expensive for the job they performed. I was charged an additional amount because a part and I had to pay for it.

Very professional crew. They gave a thorough explanation of what needed to be done. Pricing was very competitive. I experienced a minor problem after repair, which they fixed immediately. I highly recommend Vernco Plumbing.

They came right out and did my work but the price was high. For that reason, I would not recommend them. They would not give an estimate prior to coming to do the work. The work was great just too expensive.

On time and very professional and knowledgeable on what needed to be done. They installed a new disposal and also upgraded the plumbing. Checked everything out and made sure everything was in working condition.
