Having a professional kitchen installed. Project when south when original designs were off on measurements and rewiring of electricity required, which were no fault of the contractor. We renegotiated the scope, and additional monies were paid for the additional work. As the project progressed, the 1st contractor crew was not showing up daily, nor working a full day. They had also cut unnecessary holes in walls and cabinets, which had to be repaired. A 2nd worker was hired to replace the 1st crew, which simply decided not to return. He had to remove and rehang the cabinets, correct the wiring performed by the 1st guy. The work quality improved, but the 2nd guy misused materials, leaving half buckets of paint to dry, cutting excess crown molding, and materials missing. He too was pulled from the job, and the contractor himself said he would finish the job. He reran plumbing which is still leaking, rewired outlets which are not working, painted the open areas but sprayed my existing leather furniture and hard wood floors with paint, dropped tile grout on my brand new quartz tops and stainless steel professional appliances which will not clean up. Throughout the project, there were many instances of no call/ no show. This project should have completed in 4 - 6 weeks still isn't done after 12 weeks. The Contractor is friendly and likeable, and has done other jobs for me satisfactorily. However, but I would not hire this contractor again for this scope of work.
