Vertex provided excellent service!

The roof was replaced on time and appeared to be well done. When the home was inspected a year later, a leak was found near the garage - the flashing was improperly installed. They came by very quickly to fix the defective workmanship but completely refused to repair the wet drywall caused by the leak. Their customer service is laughable - got the runaround for over a week until they finally said that they won't repair the damage caused by their faulty workmanship. In their warranty letter, Jon Zimmerman, the owner writes to call him directly if not completely satisfied. Tried calling four times - he is always "unavailable." They don't stand by their work. Be wary.

Joe from Vertex roofing was fast and courteous. He got us a quote on our roof and didn't waste time trying to sell us things we didn't need. He was also accommodating in assisting with our HOA and insurance processes.

Vertex delivered in a timely manner, with a little coaxing, what they were contracted to do. This involved removing two layers of existing roofing, providing new roofing material and installing it in a timely manner, installing new soffits with appropriate venting to support the their newly installed cobra attic ventilation system. They also did a good job of removing all old roofing material and cleaning up all debris in the surrounding yard. My comment about needing some coaxing was primarily due to the management of the front office with respect to a contract that was slightly different than a normal roofing replacement contract. There was, I must say, no resistance to actually performing the work required by contract, once the modifications to the contract were explained to the staff, and Vertex never requested any variance from the original quoted, and agreed to, contractual amount. All in all I would recommend Vertex to anyone planning a roofing project.

Vertex did a great job with the new roof for our townhouse and they installed three new skylight windows as well. We also had our gutters replaced by a company that works with them and all looks great! We definitely recommend Vertex Roofing!

The asphalt part of the project was first rate. The roof looks very wonderful. The stripping of the old shingles was not done as advertised. The crew used a leaf blower to clean the old nails and shingle debris from the roof causing the cleanup around the driveway to be less than desirable. I had to go back with a magnet to cleanup after they left the job site. Should you need carpenter work done, i.e. roof decking or faca board replacement do not let them near it. There was not a person on the crew who knew what they were doing when it came to carpentry. I think the crew was interested in completing the job in one day soon they used shortcuts to get it done. I would hire them again but would demand more attention to detail.

Roofers tried to cut a couple of corners a the peaks at the gable ends and I stopped them. Had to get new drip edge for them since I had bought them previously. Also, I think they reversed the installation of the drip edges for the eaves with the drip edges for the gables. They also didn't do a very good job in the rear side with matching up the 2 drip edges in the middle of the wall. Overall they knew what they were doing for the shingling, but could have done much better with the drip edges.

Quality customers service, patient and not pushy about the products, and reasonable priced. My overall rating reflects some unexpected issues during my project installation; however, I would still recommend them.

I contacted 5 companies for an estimate. Vertex was amazing, they were very professional, showed up when they said they would, gave me an amazing price for the same product everyone else was quoting, job was scheduled and completed in a timely manner, couldn't be happier with their work and customer service. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a roofing contractor.

There are 2 main reasons I picked this company. First they were willing to give me an estimate without meeting me, this was huge! Came by my rental, pulled together an estimate and left samples. Was able to do this without trying to schedule time and take off work to meet with someone. Several on here wouldn't do that, and for that reason alone they lost my business. Second was their price. While they weren't the cheapest, they were very competitive and quick with their responses and scheduling the work. Only con of the experience was that they reinstalled a satellite dish when we previously discussed not installing it. However, after talking with them they immediately scheduled someone to remove the dish and replace the shingles. Didn't have any issue with me holding payment until that was done. I highly recommend them and will use again if I need roof work.

They were very quick to return and clean up a few items left untidy by original crew. Very pleased.

We had four contractors come bid on the project to replace the roof and reattach the gutters on our 20 year old townhouse. Vertex was the only one of the four who bothered to go up on the roof before bidding the job. I was emailed a quote on the spot, which included all of the work line items, contractual terms, and pictures of the state of our current roof. They verified that I had received the email then walked through it with me. I asked them to quote 25 year and lifetime shingles, which they did. We went with Vertex because we were impressed with the quality of the pre-sales, even though they weren't the lowest bid. We were told that the job would take 1 day, with perhaps a return the next day for finish work. It took just over half a day to complete the work. Everything was cleaned up, including going into the neighbor's yard and deck to pick up bits that had gone over the fence. Everything about this experience was positive. I don't hesitate to give my recommendation.

Came on time and got the job done - roof was replaced in one day, and gutters and downspouts on another. Looks good - definitely an improvement over the original roof from 21 years ago!

Installation was done in a very timely and efficient manner--the whole process was complete in three days, including replacing gutters and downspouts. Cleanup was exemplary--my yard was actually cleaner and neater AFTER they were done than it was before they started. Price was in line with most other estimates I received.
