We just finished a major kitchen and basement renovation with Veteran Built Homes and could not be more thrilled with the results! Veteran Built Homes recommended that we use an outside design firm (Designer Grey) for our kitchen design and we are so glad we did. Veteran Built Homes just completed a custom build at my house, renovating the interior and exterior of an existing porch with new finishes and great detail. Very responsive and flexible to client needs, we are extremely satisfied with their end product and will use them again in the future.

The estimate was 4 weeks but it took 6 months. So many different workers were sent that I have no idea who had my keys when or for how long so I had to change the locks. I don't know why I have to provide a drawing as they put the walls/doorways were they wanted to. The electrician shorted the new wiring that was hidden behind the kitchen cabinets so that it can't be put behind the drywall. The 'finish work' was junk. They used old, damaged parts and never finished the painting. The new baseboard corner's don't meet. The new LVP floor has scars from being installed too early so that building detritus got ground in. Something got spilled on that new floor and won't clean up and those marks show badly. Thank goodness it's over, I wouldn't hire this company again to build a doghouse from a kit.

I hired Vet Built homes to undertake the construction of my commercial business within a previously vacant dry cleaner space, which had remained unused for three years and was in poor condition. They eagerly embraced the challenge of converting it into a children’s gym. The finished space is even more beautiful than I had ever imagined. Collaborating with Joe and Travis proved to be effortless, and they clarified any issues that arose, even those I found confusing. Mark and his team were absolutely spot on! They literally transformed our entire downstairs. We wanted to go bold in every aspect - removing walls, replacing a half bath under the stairs to a full bar, new floors, completely opened kitchen. We wanted concrete floors and backsplash, smaller footprint for our fireplace....they nailed it. On time. Honest as h***! And a real pleasure to work with! We are a military family - Mark sets the example on how to treat a customer.
