My experience with Kings Custom Builders was extremely disappointing. From the start, their lack of attentiveness to us as customers was evident. We had scheduled several meetings for them to be part of the design process, but the owner, Jesse, failed to attend any of them and always had an excuse or dodged our calls. What's even more concerning is that Jesse attempted to put a lien on our house for work that he never completed and for a process he was never a part of. When we expressed our frustration and disappointment, he resorted to threats of legal action if we posted any negative reviews. We were so disappointed by this company that we sold our house and bought another just to avoid any other contractors. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and it's clear that I will never work with Jesse or Kings Custom Builders again. My experience with them was marked by unprofessionalism and a lack of integrity, and I would caution anyone considering their services.

Couldn't be happier with my fence. Jesse, Brennan and Johnny were rock starts. Great communication. Great Results. Great people.

Jesse started out very professional and seemed to know what he was doing for a bathroom repair after a broken water heater caused water damage to wall, floor and cabinet. Jesse was on the job at times, but apparently delegated the work to someone else. The repairs were completed and it was a mess. The major problem was that there was no subfloor replacement and the whole job needed to be redone. All aspects of the job were substandard. Jesse was paid in full and agreed to fix his mistakes, but then never did. I am out $2,000. Do not trust him! He is a fraud with all of his veteran talk. His work ethic is terrible. I have lots of pics!

The crew worked tirelessly until completed

What started out as a great working relationship went south 75% of the way into our landscaping job. It felt like the owner was overwhelmed and rarely around towards the end. Then when a permit issue came up he bailed on the last phase of the project and made up excuses for why he couldn't continue working with us. I was left with a muddy mess, grading was incomplete, no fence installed, and trees unplanted. I had to beg another subcontractor to help me over a weekend to complete our job. We still have a ton of large rocks throughout our yard and there are some residual drainage issues. I wish it hadn't ended sour... I really liked Jesse and his wife who also runs things. Crew needs supervision for sure.

We did a complete remodel on our house inside and out, and have used various contractors. Veteran Landscape & Construction was the only company we worked with who finished on budget and on time. They are also friendly and polite: my 3 year old keeps asking when Jesse is coming back! We recommend this company without reservation!

Jesse and his crew were friendly and trustworthy and knew their craft. As veterans ourselves, my wife and I appreciated their dedication to hard work and getting the job done right the first time. The hand-crafted, custom mantle is gorgeous and we highly recommend this team of professionals!

Veterans is a small, Gig Harbor-based lawn and landscaping/cleanup company. They replaced my ratty old, weed infested, brown-spot filled lawn with new sod, and now it looks terrific. They did a great job over several days, and the price was really low. I don't see how they made much profit on my job. The negative of working with this company is that they are small, and they are popular and they seem to be overwhelmed with business, and it is difficult at best to try and contact them for any followup or to hire them for more work. Calling them to leave a message often doesn't work because the phone mailbox is often full and so you can not leave a message. And emails sent go unanswered. But the work they did was first rate.

The Guys we’re professional and prompt. Easy to get ahold of and super responsive. Had the entire project done within 4 days! Would use Veteran again.

They did good work, but didn't get everything finished as we had discussed. They did come back to finish two items. I felt the crew needed more supervision from the company's owner.

Had Veteran landscape & Construction do a full on landscaping with irrigation system and drive way including a stone walk way and a retaining wall the project was top notch!!. Not only did they consistently show up on time but stay late in the day to finish the project early final project turned out great!!! Will recommend them for any project to anyone needing services

What really impressed me was that Jesse measured all of the barked areas for an accurate estimate where others providers only guested. They will be starting soon and I look forward to their professional work.
