Reviews
Write a ReviewWorked with me and explained everything as he went along. I will use them in the future.
Reliable and a fair price.
Very satisfied. Now Will have them add more cameras.
We Thank You for taking the time to review our company. We take great pride in offering Professional Installation and great service.
We paid Fort Knox Security over $8000.00 on 7/29/16 for our security equipment & installation. Now after three months of our system being offline, and after making around 15+ phone calls asking them for help to get our system back online, to no avail, weâve decided to write a review not as revenge, but to warn others about the extremely poor service Fort Knox Security, Inc. provides. We have spoken with the staff and both owners, Jay and Daren, and they are very friendly and convincing during the sales process and when you call for service, however, their words are very empty and meaningless. They make promises that you cannot rely on. Our system went offline three months ago, we placed at least ten calls over several weeks before we could get an appointment to troubleshoot over the phone, which is how theâve got our system online before when it went offline. Five appointments were set up, all five we were left hanging, they were a no-show. After five no show appointments, weâve called repeatedly for two weeks and theyâve promise to set up an appointment in the near future to troubleshoot over the phone. As of December 7th, they have not scheduled an appointment to help us. We did have a previous problem once before when our system went offline. They made appointments to walk us through getting it online but were repeatedly a no-show, without apology, again and again they were a no-show for our phone appointments. After three weeks of leaving us waiting for phone appointments they did not show up for, Jay finally called and walked us through the steps to get it back online. It took about fifteen minutes. We gladly paid the $45.00 fee but lamented that it took so many calls to get them to bother to give us the fifteen minutes it took to help us get online. We didnât realize how good we had it back then, this time our system has been offline for three months.
all good

Thank you Gary, we appreciate the opportunity to earn your business.
Jeremy and Carmello were the guys who installed our equipment and they were SUPER! Got the job done and explained everything we needed to know. Thanks, guys, for a job well done!!
We are victims of a "Bait and Switch." We wanted all windows and doors in our pre-wired home setup with a Keypad, control panel and cell module. This is how it went: We first saw their (Fort Knox Security) display at the Home Show at Tropicana Field in November - 2016. We were provided a handout, "Gift Certificate $849 value 'FREE' home / Business Security System" from Paul K. Sales Manager. Also on the so-called Gift Certificate were 13 items that are included, allegedly for free. The bait and switch began when Paul K arrived and sold us a bill of goods we thought were the same as that of the Certificate we had seen and expressed this point that we were interested in the FREE stuff on the so-called certificate.. We did not have the Certificate in our hands at the time of his estimate and ended up spending $1,200 plus $35.00 per month for monitoring for 2 years, additional $840, getting NOTHING FREE. This "Free" security system ended up costing us, $2,040. When I called Paul K. nine times regarding the issue and him not returning my calls, I finally called Daren H. who says he is the owner. He does the same thing. You call speak to him he will call you back. Never does. He told me several times after I called him again, and again, he was going to contact Jay K. the installer regarding my complaint of his business practice of "Bait and Switch" This cat and mouse game has gone on for 5 months. Still NO return calls from Darren H and not one call from Jay K. Buyer beware as to what they may try on you. If you ever need to speak to anyone of them on the phone, it is a "game of spin" throughout the conversation. They have "No sense of urgency.", hoping if they ignore you long enough you will go away. I tried one last time to contact Daren H by phone on 04.21.2017 got voicemail left another message. NO return call from him and still NO call from Jay K. There is so much more, but you get the gist of how they do business.
Good honest professional courteous technician. Great job and didn't try to over charge.
