About us
Veteran Services is a sole proprietorship and provides asphalt refinishing, junk removal and lawn care services with an emphasis on Hydroseeding technology. The company operates within Sussex County. I started Veteran Services of Delaware in November of last year after I came back from my second tour in Iraq with the Army Reserves. Outside of creating a great business, one of my main goals and passions is employing local unemployed Veterans. The Veteran Services team currently consists of 3 veterans with the hopes of adding more veterans to our team this summer. I work with the Delaware Department of Labor to Identify and hire local veterans. My business is a socially conscious business that honors the old way of doing business with someone you can trust. Integrity and honesty are at the forefront of my company and we provide all pricing on our company website. We are licensed and insured.

The entire crew was exceptionally professional and their work was excellent. Although it didn't affect the quality and timeliness of the work they completed, I was never given a complete estimate for additional work that I asked for six weeks ago (on January 15).

Was very pleased with the service I received. I was called right away & the service was performed in a couple days. I do not live at the house & Jack even sent me a picture on my phone to show that the bags of leaves were on his truck to be removed. I would definitely recommend home advisor & definitely use them again.

As a result of contacting Home Advisor I was promptly contacted by Veteran Services of Delaware. They in turn recommended a local contractor Concrete Advantage LLC of Milton, DE. As a result of that contact the HOA that I represent has contracted with that company to provide snow removal services this winter season. Although we have not received any snow as of yet I can state that I have been very satisfied with the proposal that was presented and the timely manner that it was done.

We contacted Veteran's Services after Hurricane Sandy. We needed a rather large broken tree removed. The work was performed quickly, neatly and for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend their services. We are considering having another very large tree removed and will use Veteran's Services.

I was happy with the final project, but they offered to do things that didn't get done, we have a tree that is leaning to the left because of the high winds, I felt it should of been staked to begin with and now it's like pulling teeth to get them back over here to fix it. I should of did my homework before choosing these landscapers.

Job was done on November 1st, 2012. Two men went up on the roof at 10:01 a.m. and they were putting the ladder back on the truck at 10:38. WIthin 2 weeks, I noticed shingles laying on my front roof that had been put on by them on the ridgecap. The warranty was supposed to be 90 days. I have placed 3 calls to Jack with Veteran Services and I always get the same song and dance....Thank you for calling....I lost your number....I will be out tomorrow to get you fixed up. These are all lies......avoid this company at all costs! I paid 200 hard earned dollars just to be ripped off. These guys know when to rip people and when not to.

"The job was done prior to the nor'easter the roof is not new but fairly dated. The problem could have been caused by the storm if the first problem was caused by sandy. No one was able to view the roof to truly see the cause . We apologize for your inconvienence and per jack you were issued a full refund. And again we are truly sorry. We make it a point to keep a 5 star rating as you can see . As We continue to do customer analysis to assure these things don't happen in the future.. Thanks again and have a wonderful new year"
