Cory is outstanding! As a first time home buyer who didn’t know a thing about buying real estate, Cory was very patient and walked me through everything step by step. I had no idea what to expect, but Cory set my mind at ease and explained the whole process before he started the inspection. I even learned how to do simple things while walking through the inspection. I highly recommend Veterans First Home Inspection to my friends and family and to anyone looking for a quality home inspection. Thank you Cory!

The inspector, Cory, was friendly and very informative about the property. He gave us a professional and personal opinion of things he inspected. Frankly, as a 1st time home buyer, we appreciated it. If I buy or need another home inspection, I would definitely hire him again.

Cory was recommended to me by another homeowner in the neighborhood to which Iâ ll be moving soon. He was extremely responsive and easy to schedule, found some defects in the new construction work to which I was able to point out to my builder (and they corrected them!), and the final report was available to me within 8 hours with tons of picturesâ which made it easy to follow since I was not available for the pre dry wall inspection. I will be using Cory again for my final walk-through inspection in October.

Corey was on-time, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. I am purchasing a new home and thought to myself, what could possibly be wrong with a new home? Well, Corey noted deficiencies in the home that required attention by the builder. I received my inspection report just a few hours after he left the property; much better than my last experience with a home inspector. I would highly recommend Corey for your future home inspection needs.

Cory did an amazing job for my pre drywall inspection. I will hire him again for my final inspection on my new build. He was extremely thorough. Took well over 100 pictures. What’s even better is because of COVID19 I couldn’t be there but I felt like I was. He found some things, documented them well and I had them fixed by my PM immediately. As a fellow veteran myself I felt a sense of peace knowing Cory had integrity like me. It’s ingrained in us and it showed. If you want the job done and done right, call Veterans First. Sure you’ll find someone a little cheaper. Sure you’ll find someone who will promise you the moon and stars but Cory was early, responsive, thorough, and worth it. Thank you Cory.

Great job, but received no callbacks regarding a review of the inspection, which I thought was a bit odd. The company is a bit persistent about the reviews. My inbox was getting a bit inundated with repeated requests for this review. Felt kind of pressured to do so. Recommend scaling back some on that, as it is a bit tacky.

I was skeptical at first because my realtor recommended them to me and I thought she may get a kickback for it. But.... The gentlemen that provided the home inspection was very friendly and super in depth. Would recommend to anyone in the MD area looking to buy a home.

Cory was very professional and helpful with my new home "pre-drywall" inspection. He was on time and was very attentive to details. On a side note - the day of our inspection was brutally windy and cold and he was kind enough to lend me his beanie to cover my shivering head. I really appreciated this gesture because it shows what kind of a person he is. He means "business" and yet personally caring. He even answered questions about some things in the construction that seemed "odd" to me. I liked the format of the comprehensive report that he had submitted in advance, which was due to the builder the following day. I will definitely recommend him to others and will use him again for our "final" house inspection.
