Our project in Redwood City was a 14 month long, full house remodel with new addition (new foundation) mostly during the pandemic. So as big as they can get. From the start, I found Victor to be an upfront, knowledgable, and fair person. He clearly has years/decades of experience doing construction, and has a gut feel for it. At times he will appear to not dig into details but the promises he makes, he keeps. Every home project has surprises, no matter how much engineers and architects plan ahead. It's the craft of the person who is on ground every day that makes a project sucessful. When we found surprises, Victor was fair to us AND to his business. I liked that. He honored the design and plans and I feel like he delivered as promised, even during pandemic. Victors crew, esp. Bill was very polite and hardworking as well. Bill is truly one of the most friendly AND caring craftsman I've interacted with. At times HE was the one who pushed me to choose/buy better items (like the front mailbox!). It felt like he treated this project as his own accomplishment. I really felt in good hands with Bill. If I had to build a house again, I would choose Victor and his team without any hesitation. They are caring, skilled and very professional. Highly recommended.

Working with Victor and his team was a dream come true. When we we're deciding who to use for our home addition and remodel we heard from one of Victor's previous clients, "I don't know why anyone would use any other general contractor for their project". That sentiment held true for us. Victor provided a cost competitive, timely and thorough quote that included all of the details we needed in deciding who to hire. He was responsive the entire project. His team was professional and took pride in their work. They hired highly qualified sub-contractors for tiling, plumbing and drywall work that were top notch and similarly detail oriented. Victor was supportive and able to execute on every aspect of our project. My family and I would use Victor and his team again for future projects and I would quickly recommend them to any friends or family for their own projects.

I hired Victor twice in 2012 and 2022 for remodeling two different houses. Victor and Bill are very knowledgable on construction. They are very resourceful with subcontractors and suppliers. Both projects were done as scheduled.

This is a great company! I cannot recommend working with them highly enough. They are experts at what they do! They worked with us from the outset of the project to make sure they deeply understood the outcomes we wanted and then patiently set about working to make our dreams come true. Victor and his team are deeply professional, smart, kind, persistent, focused, fun to be around and great people. Can't imagine a better group of people working inside our house for 4-5 months! Absolutely wonderful!

Had some disagreements on verbal agreement.

Our building extension project cost over $80,000. Victor construction was very professional timely and was value for money. Best part is that Victor made recommendations to improve our plan and work with the city to implement it. Worked out very well for us from esthetics and longevity of the roof. We made number of changes during construction and he did not overcharge for any of them. I confidently recommend Victory Construction.

Service Magic turns out not very magical. We contacted couple GCs matched by Service Magic. Most of them don't even want to participate a bidding process. I guess they are suitable for open-end projects with deep pocket. Another one just want to low ball other offers at the end of the process. Eventually, we met with Victor. I think he put 'honesty & integrity' in his company introduction for a good reason. I felt that he studied our plan before giving his estimation. He's very knowledgeable throughout the project. He's honest and reasonable during discussion. Our three-month project in is finished on time. We love the result.
