Jordan came out on Thursday (on time) to provide me a quote for the work needed to be done. The work was to replace the seal on the faucet, readjust a storm door because it wouldn't open all the way, and rehang a shelf in the closet. He was aware that I flew in from out of town for this work to be done and needed it completed the same day. He told me that the work would take 2hrs to complete because the sink and the storm door were quick fixes. He quoted me $150 for the entire job. He arrived 1 hour 10 minutes late to the actual appointment on Saturday morning. When I called he indicated that he had a pipe burst at one of his properties. He didn't bring the appropriate support or materials to fix the closet shelf (although he came out and saw what needed to be done prior).He told me @11:40 am that he was going to Home Depot and would be right back. After being gone for 1 hour 20 minutes I called but he didn't answer. After I text him, he told me that he would be back after he went to his property to install some copper pipes because his tenants did not have water and that was more important. Unfortunately, I had no other options. He returned at 6pm and fixed the sink, the storm door, and installed the closet rack. He called me for payment and told me that the job was completed. Luckily I was using a credit card and he didn't have the machine on him at the time. I called my tenants and they informed me that the job was not completed and he was coming out the next day. They told me that he installed the bar too low and all of the clothes draped the floor. In addition, he didn't use the correct support bars that we agreed upon. But said he was tired of going to Home Depot for the day and he could come back the next day. The next day (Sunday) his appointment was at 9:00 am, my tenants contacted him around 11:00 am to ask where he was because I had to catch a flight. He said he had to drop his kids off and go to Home Depot and he would be right over. He did not arrive until 2:20pm. He reinstalled the closet rack and added some support bars but did not putty the holes that were exposed after the adjustment. He left and once again he contacted me to tell me that the job was finished. He said that he didn't have to putty the holes because the bar was fine where it was. I text him and told him that I wanted to speak with his boss before I paid for the service. He was very rude and accused me of trying to stick him for completing work without payment. I later discovered that he was the boss of the company. I told him that when all of the work was done to my satisfaction, I had no problem paying for the work that was done. He had to come back the 3rd day, to putty the holes and to turn on the cold water from when he added the seal to the sink. However he still did not put on one of the brackets for the rack in the closet. His final price was $250, which was a difference of $100 of the original quote. Jordan was respectful and prompt. Even when a mechanical issue with his plow occurred he got someone else to do the job. He made sure to come with them to meet me. I highly recommend him!
