DO NOT HIRE THIS TREE BUTCHER! Destroyed 35 Pine Trees! DROVE - CREEPY SLOW STALKING my HOME the day this H.A. post went up!! Last night 5.16.23 around 15pm he CREEPILY DROVE PAST MY HOME AGAIN! NOW I must file stalking complaint to Police tomorrow!! WHY IS HE STILL on this site??? I am in the process of filing criminal charges/complaints for: 1. -Fraud, completely misleading his intent to do agreed upon job 2. -STEALING several loads of valuable wood. 3. -Property Destruction. All this for a simple yard clean up?? Yesterday I had a tree expert out, this visit confirmed that the Owner of Viking Land Mgt. lied to me at the time of the estimate on August 16, 2022. He assured me that he would preserve my forests and that we would keep all green branches. He agreed to ONLY trim dead branches and remove the windowmaker/hanging branches. Instead, on the day of the job he CLEAR CUT EVERYTHING up to 20 feet ALL GREENERY IS GONE! 35 TREES! I have no way of enjoying my 1000 sq. ft of green yard and beautiful evergreens, it is DESTROYED! It is my assumption, after confronting him, that he NEVER planned to PRESERVE MY FOREST! I feel that he wanted to try to devalue my property. I AM completely traumatized over the sudden LOSS of 35 White Pine Trees GONE without my knowledge or permission. Recently I had a 30 foot branch break off mid branch because of no support!!! My dog had been standing there just minutes before! I have lived here for years and that has never happened! When I look out my window it is not the same home...Do NOT HIRE this company the owner will do what HE wants to your trees and yard!!! His response hearing how upset I was he told me NOT to harass him cause he refuses to take accountability!! Today I had to order privacy fencing because my yard was destroyed by this company! Owner Viking Land Mgt. was ONLY hired to do a simple yard safety and clean up on my property of an old growth forest. Had done a walk thru with me for almost 40 minutes discussing in great detail the work he was being hired for by showing the condition of the yard and seeing what the job required. My tree health is a priority! This is a Land Mtg. Company and they were told to leave a Marker Tree and he butchered it! It was made extremely clear to Viking Land Mgt that he was to ONLY do the following: safely take down the high dangerous branches; remove ONLY dead branches and some that may go as high as 15, 25 feet and to clean up the deep pile of pine needles on the forest floor. That is it! He said he could easily repel up the tree with gear that was to be included in the quote. Total job hours worked was maybe 6-8 hours with the employee he showed up with. He cut up trees and stumps I told him specifically not to cut! Pristine trees he cut up! Butchered up the largest tree on my property! He did ALL this extra work that took 3 days instead of 1 day FOR THE SAME PRICE. He has told me that I changed my mind the day of the job. NEVER did I change my mind! This forest provided complete privacy for my yard and he intentionally destroyed it. In addition, the owner showed up with a new hire that had no experience doing tree work and allowed him to work unsupervised, failing to check his work.

The man was very nice, got right to work, after we discussed payment. He had to call in another person with more powerful equipment after a few hours. I have a large yard and many leaves. Good job overall.
