Viper Drain Cleaning

I got Chris's number from a friend. I was looking to find someone who could install a new main drain pipe. I was told that Chris cleans drains and could perhaps recommend someone who could install. When I got Chris on the phone, I explained the problem. I already had two companies out to clean and open the drain, but they both failed to do so. Well, Chris assured me that he could do it, when others could not, saying he was so good at what he did, that he would not fail. I called him out on his bragging, and asked him how much he would charge me if he were to come out but not be able to open the pipe. He said that wouldn't happen, so I asked him again and he said he'd charge me only for a minimum service call, 175.00. So, he told me that he could come out on the next day, a Thursday, but he had someone before me. So I waited all morning and then, texted him to see about his ETA, He said we might have to reschedule for tomorrow. So at 4:45 he texted me that he'd have to come the next day(Friday.) He said he'd be there by around noon. Noon came and I texted him to see where we were at, and he texted me back â I'm going to bring my jet trailer with me but Iâ m getting there just be patient with me bc I had something come up I have to take care of first but I will be there. He finally showed at around 3:00, and brought his snake in the basement where the cleanup is located. He cabled the pipe, got to the same spot that the last company got to, and said he couldn't go any further. Then he said he'd set up his â jet trailer. Well, after he got halfway setup, he realized that he couldn't use the trailer because the water in his tank was frozen. He said it would take about three hours to thaw, and he'd come back at 8:00. I paid him the 175.00 and he left. Well, I didn't hear from him at all after that, no show, no text, nothing. So I texted him on Saturday morning(with the snow falling) and asked him if he could come over on Monday and, jet my drain. About an hour later, he texted me â if you'd like me to come Monday Iâ m happy to do so. I have two jobs Monday morning already in Mass but they are in Lowell so not too far. We exchanged a few more texts and he again said he'd â put me in. That was the last thing I have heard from him. I texted him twice on Monday to find out if/when he was coming, but no answer.

Owner contacted me almost immediately after I posted my job. Very polite and professional personality. Came on Saturday for the job.
