Showed up on date scheduled and finished my project as promised. Did a great job making repairs on something another contractor messed up. Will use them again next time I need help around the house.

We have an old home with many unknown problems. They not only fixed our obvious issues they also found solutions to problems uncovered. Honest, hard working, and kind they gave our old home a wow factor!

I hired Kenneth to remodel 3 bathrooms and he told me the job would take 4 weeks to complete, one day Kenneth told me that he has to pull off the job and go work on a flip house of his and was gone for 2 weeks before he came back, worked for awhile and left again came back worked a little a left again then Kenneth sent me a text that said that he he was shutting down his business because he said that his business owes more that it is worth and is starting a new career and left the job in shambles and I had to hire someone else to complete the work and repair the work that was not done properly,

    Response from Company:

After 30 years renovating homes for customers with out one complaint, eventually a troubled customer comes along. This customer refused to pay us 4,875 of changes she approved, with witnesses. We gave her a 3,800 estimate for changes to the third and final bathroom, which again she refused prior to starting the 3rd bathroom. We had an emergency flood at one of my renovations, which we had to fix. She was understanding at first, then became irate and cursed and yelled at us. Then the faucet and counter top, which she order to finish the first 2 bathrooms were back ordered and caused a time delay. When it came, the counter top was the wrong size and reordered for another delay finishing the first two bathrooms. Finally, I paid one of my employees to 100 % complete the first two bathroom, to perfection, even after she refused to pay us our balance of 5,000. Then I convinced one of my employees to go and finish the third bathroom separate of my company and for 6,000 less than the estimate and money owed to Virginia Home Renovations. This experience was very difficult, but I know I completed the job I was contracted to do, we lost thousands of dollars, all to preserve our impeccable reputation. This bad review is shocking to me while I went above and beyond for her, she still felt the need to attempt to destroy our reputation. I have always gone above and beyond for customers as I did for this customer, and this bad review is the thanks I get for finishing the job at a loss, and helping her get her final bathroom completed by my employee on his own, and again, 8,000$ less than written estimates. Proving to me, you can't please everyone, no matter how hard you try. I just don't like the blatant lies. We have provided Home Advisers all supporting paperwork and proof to disprove her claims, and we are awaiting a removal of Donna's false claims in her review.

Ken and his team did a super job! Had very good suggestions to fulfill our office needs. Was willing to work around our business hours and did high quality of work - and finished on time!! We would highly recommend Virginia Home Renovations!
