Vision Appraisals

His review was flawed. He used incorrect houses to compare with the one we were trying to buy. He said there was no attic when there was one. Said there was one fireplace when there were three. Said the house had central cooling when it has radiators. He quoted the wrong appliances that were in the kitchen. He had the incorrect number of bedrooms. Said there are five when there are only four. He said there is only one bathroom but there are two. He showed pictures of the house form 2011 because he used pics off of an old ad. He says there is a garage and shows it intact from 2011 when it has fallen down due to a garbage truck hitting it. In the report it also stated the utilities were on during the time of the inspection which is impossible, because the wiring from the breakers have been cut. All of the pipes are missing. I don't think he even went in or by the property. I want to challenge the appraisal which will probably cost me another $630. He sounded really personable on the phone and I trusted that he would do good work because I found him on your site and figured there was a screening process. Now I need to challenge the appraisal and am missing deadlines and could lose the opportunity to buy this house. Which means I'll lose $1,000 of earnest money as well.
