Did a complete remodel, had multiple electricians out over 2 year time, these guys were the best, polite, professional, cleaned up after themselves, First five star rating I ve ever given...

They did excellent work at the price quoted. His crew is very personable and courteous. Here's the thing. He isn't the most reliable person in the world. I hired them to do an electrical upgrade on a home I was flipping. No complaints so on the next project I decided to hire them. It took two months to get them to make a bid. On no less than five occasions he told me would be there and failed to show. I finally asked point blank if he wanted the business or not and it took that much to get him to show up unannounced. I'm easy to get along with and the bid he gave was reasonable so I gave them the job. They didn't schedule a specific time to do the work. Rather, they showed up unannounced to do the work, which involved shutting the power off. Since I didn't know when they were coming I had scheduled starting work which required electricity and the rental of equipment. I thought "okay, it is what it is" and had them start. His son assured me that they were scheduled for permit inspection the next morning and they would have the power on right after that. The permit inspector showed but no one from Vision did. The work didn't pass. They corrected the problem late that day but Rick never did return my phone calls asking for an update despite my leaving several scathing voice mails. I have no complaints about their work or cost; however, that isn't worth nearly as much as the reliability of a contractor and in that aspect Rick Hardman is an abject failure. I would not recommend this company for any job where scheduling or reliability is critical.
