Repair Damage from Dry-rot, Water or Pests

I had plumbing damage in my guess bathroom. I called Vital Restoration to help me with this problem. The team was great, professional and helpful with this stressful process of restoration project from the beginning. They clean all the areas affected by the water and use fans and dehumidifiers to accelerate drying. They were in contact with the Insurance Company Represent providing all the information that they needed to accelerate the claim process. They were simply Great! I highly recommend anyone looking for reliable and high-quality restoration work.

Repair Damage from Dry-rot, Water or Pests

We hired Derwin and Vital Restorations to remodel a bathroom. Their work was first class. We bought the vanity, the mirror, the flooring, the accessories, and chose the paint color. Derwin's crew of two finished the work beautifully in a day and a half. See the attached photos for more details. Beautiful job isn't it?

Repair Damage from Dry-rot, Water or Pests

Vital Restoration. Viral Team they did an awesome job on my business home . We had water loss in the kitchen and damage half of the kitchen and the deck in the patio. Derwin the project Manager and his team did an excellent job to restored everything back. Also, they did great job dealing with the adjuster from the insurance claim. After seeing the great job they did I brought them to my personal home to remodel the kitchen and both bathroom. Excellent company to work with!

Derwin project manager and his team did a fantastic job on the water damage on my bathroom and kitchen area. Vital Restoration team, helping me with all process with the claim insurance. They also help me. We that reconstruction work on my bathroom and kitchen repairing and putting everything back. I do recommend Vital Restoration company for any water damage and reconstruction work. They’re great to work with. .

We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
