We hired Val to powerwash and stain our deck. He provided a clear estimate, timeframe and his availability. We decided to call him back and schedule a date/time. First, he powerwashed the deck from top to bottom - clean as new. After a couple days, he arrived in the morning and stained the deck, several coats. Outstanding job! Very professional, very respectful. Top notch - Well Done!

I hired Val after two other attempted bids, one no-showed and the other arrived 2 hours late and was priced outrageously. Val was prompt and arrived as promised. His bid was reasonable and all these factors plus the amazing reviews resulted in me hiring him immediately. I really valued his opinion on color and paint types as well as his guidance on color application. Part of the work was to stain six natural wood columns and they look great. As a testament to his work, a neighbor and a close friend all signed on with him after seeing his work. That's the real reference right there. I would hire Val and Vivd Classical Painting again in a heartbeat.

Val was on time for estimate and quoted a very fair price. We had one area of rotted wood that needed to be repaired before painting. Val suggested an approach and did the repairs. The decks looks great after painting. Val started job when he said he would and finished on time. Grateful for his help!

Val and his team did a great job! We hired them to paint our house exterior and our kitchen cabinets at the same time. They accomplished both in 5 days. The crew was timely, pleasant and cleaned up after themselves. We are very pleased with the finished paint job!
