This review is on behalf of my mom, sister, and myself. We all had a great experience and are really happy with how everything turned out. We hired Volca LLC last fall after they came highly recommended by a close family friend who had both their kitchen and their daughter’s kitchen done by them. Our home was built in 1987, and we needed a full remodel of the kitchen and living room area. Everything was gutted, and the transformation is honestly night and day. We now have an open-concept kitchen with a beautiful island that seats four, along with custom cabinets that completely elevated the space. It is now a beautiful, modern space where we can proudly host friends and family. Daniel Simons and the team at Volca LLC were easygoing and genuinely great to work with throughout the entire process. He was responsive, patient with all of our questions, and made sure everything we needed was addressed. That kind of communication makes a huge difference during a project like this. The crew was just as solid. From the carpenter who custom built the cabinets on site to the electrician, plumber, painters, and everyone else involved, the work was high quality across the board. You can tell they work with people they trust. We would absolutely recommend Volca LLC.

🛑 Avoid VOLCA LLC at All Costs 🛑 I hired VOLCA LLC for a home renovation under a fixed-price contract. After waiting months and securing all necessary permits, the contractor suddenly demanded a higher price—claiming increased subcontractor costs—and refused to start work unless I agreed. This was a blatant violation of our signed agreement, which clearly stated the price was fixed unless changed by mutual agreement. To make matters worse, more than five weeks have passed since permits were issued, and no work has begun, despite a clear contractual deadline. Communication has been evasive, and they have ignored formal breach notices. I am now forced to pursue legal arbitration and may file a complaint with the Florida DBPR due to possible licensing violations. This has caused serious delays, financial stress, and wasted time. Based on my experience, I would never recommend this company to anyone seeking professional, reliable, or contractually compliant service. Proceed with caution—or better yet, look elsewhere. UPDATE / RESPONSE TO CONTRACTOR: The contractor's response is a significant mischaracterization of the arbitration award. The arbitration award did NOT confirm they "fulfilled their obligations correctly." They performed zero construction work and abandoned the contract.

On August 1, 2024, I entered into a formal Construction Agreement with VOLCA LLC (License CRC 1333518), represented by sales person, for a significant interior renovation project. The agreement was a fixed-price contract, with a total Contract Price of $78,814.56, clearly defined in Section 3 of the Agreement. This price was based on VOLCA LLC's Estimate #199, dated August 1, 2024, which detailed the scope of work, including Builder's responsibility for labor and most materials (e.g., paint, drywall materials, etc., except specific tile noted).
