We?re very happy with our new metal stairs! The workmanship was excellent, the stairs came out strong, clean, and modern, and the attention to detail really shows. The whole process was smooth and professional from start to finish.

I have been hesitant to write this review because I wanted to give Volkan Ironworks the chance to right their wrongs. But they have chosen not to. I am a general contractor and had a very bad experience with Volkan Ironworks. Check the other reviews, people have had a similar experience. This railing project which they forecasted to take 2 months took 11 MONTHS for them to finish! The owner, Volkan Tetik, is a dishonest businessman and I would never use him again to install a railing. Once they have your deposit money, good luck ever getting him on the phone ever again! You will never speak with Volkan, only his lower-level employees. The Superintendent in charge of my project, Eddie, was so unorganized. Management and quality control was awful. I?d say there were 10 separate occasions when they told me the work was complete. Then I?d go out and inspect the work and find a ton of stuff that wasn?t done. There was a little unclear back and forth in the bid process, and they offered to come down in price when they understood the scope of the job. They came out promptly to measure and fabricate the railing and returned a week later to install the finished railing. I am very pleased with the job they did.

I was a bit concerned about this company because I could not get a firm date to do the job. We went. back and forth quite a bit between Karen at their office and their estimator Eddie. BUT in the end they did come through and made an excellent wrought Iron stair railing at my parents home in Shoreline. Very Good Job by the crew that crafted and installed the railing. I had talked to about 6 others and Volkan bid a fair price and I am glad I hired them.

Showed up right on time. Installed a simple rail for my steps.

Generally a good experience-follow up and scheduling time was an issue.

The job was completed in one day. They matched the existing railing.

The end result looked somewhat amateurish. The bolts were varying lengths, the metal plates looked rusted. He also left stains on the driveway from the equipment he was using.

Volkan crafted from raw material a steel railing for our new brick walkway and porch at the front entrance of our home. We wanted it to be a simple but elegant feature that would enhance the value and appearance of our home, while providing strong, safe and maintenance-free service. We are extremely pleased with Volkan's work and professional service.

My experience with Volkan was excellent. He is honest, responsible, and very pleasant and he seemed eager to go the 'extra mile' to make sure I was satisfied. He offered several options by emailing me photographs of rails he had installed, and prior to installation emailed me a photograph of the front of my house with the rail I had decided on in place so I could see the final product. Additionally, he secured an existing rail that was loose at no charge. I highly recommend Volkan and would not hesitate to call him when I need another rail.
