They were able to come out and evaluate my issue with little waiting. Jim came from Votum and quickly identified our issue as a failing main breaker - having a background in electrical design and being able to inspect and discuss the seriousness of the impending failure we arranged to have them return and do the work the same day. Unfortunately we ran into installation issues with the house being older that could have required us opening walls and reconstructing an already remodeled room. Fortunately Charlie the owner was willing to discuss other options that would fit our need and resolve the potential fire hazard we faced. A week later after suffering another power failure in the home Jim arrived in the morning and was able to install a surface mount box over the existing box (essentially converting it into a junction box) He was professional and courteous and answered any question I had. Additionally they were able to reduce the price and avoid some work we thought we may have also needed. Votum Electric is a class act and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs an experienced and capable company for their electrical needs.
