A DISASTER! THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD! Note: This is the first review we have ever written, but feel it is important because of the total unprofessional experience and quality of work: We hired Joseph to repair some wood rot on an outside bay window and to build 1 cabinet for our kitchen. First thing, the materials were delivered to the wrong Lowes location resulting in driving across town to another location where additional materials had to be purchased. Material list changed 3 times. He failed to notice the wrong Lowes address listed on his text confirmation from Lowes. He said it was not his fault, but rather Lowes fault. Started with the bay window: Asked us to take a look after removing the old wood and installing the new. The new window sill was damaged/dented/dinged, unacceptable gaping, wood boards cut too short with other pieces added in, damaged (hammered) the old bay window area ruining the good wood (we have photo proof). We questioned the quality and were told **that is how he received the wood**. I said, **So you did not inspect your wood first?** He said, **No**. Again, not his fault and he stated that he typically has client inspection approval points throughout a project. I asked why we did not have those approval points for this project and was met with a blank stare. We said we were surprised by the quality of work since everything was damaged and did not look new. We bought more wood that we inspected to have him correct the issue. The result was worse and he said he would return in several days to put pin nails in it... ? He asked what we wanted to do with the old wood he tore off.. We expected that was something he would be taking care of. Now we were very nervous about having the cabinet made, but he was moving on to creating the wood **box** for the cabinet. In the meantime, served his helper lunch/water. He did not finish that day and he said he would return several days later to finish the cabinet and correct the bay window frame. The night before, he texted stating he would be there at 8AM. I said **we wanted approval touch points during the kitchen cabinet process**(as a result of the unacceptable outside work). Thats the last we have heard from him (text proof). Did not show up the next day and left us with a 3ft by 3ft unfinished box on our kitchen floor. We have had a lot of successful work done on our home and have never experienced anything like this before. We are moving on with a more experienced, professional carpenter. Again, this is the first review ever written.

Let me first start off by saying when I first looked with this app the carpenter is the only one that popped up for stairs. The contractor came out and gave me a quote of $1500. My wife and I were happy with that quote and hired him. One day when he went and bought materials for $1466. When I asked about the $1500 he said yeah $1500 plus materials. The contractor worked with us on the right stain we wanted. Overall the job looks between ok and good and is an upgrade to our home. However, when you look closely at the details you can see mistake after mistake. We also hired a contractor to stain and paint the new stairs. He got stain on my newly paints walls in several spots and on the baseboard. Also on my tile and carpet. Requiring me to replace that now. He missed pieces of trim to sand and stain. He failed to sand and stain my side stairs 100%. He claimed to be a master carpenter over the phone but cut my handrail too short and had to fill it in. When attaching the new spindles he should have drilled the holes first then sanded and stained them. Now I have to take them out and do that. He failed to put up any plastic on the walls and tape off the area to protect the surrounding area of my house and left my house a giant dust ball while we have a newborn at home. Upon the job being completed he left the construction area a COMPLETE mess. Leaving my wife and me to clean up. He also left all the old material in my garage for me to dispose of. The point of hiring a ? professional? is so I would not have to do anything. Now I am left with doing the finishing touches. Next time I will do more work and find extra quotes etc.

Fantastic work. First to respond to job request when MOST DONT at all, first to come out to provide an estimate. Square footage estimate was dead on, and provided great consultation on choosing the right materials and styles of baseboards. Easy and flexible to schedule. Day of job installed 250 sq ft in three hours. Work is beautiful. Clearly an expert craftsman with excellent customer service skills. Will recommend to everyone. Thank you!

They were Fantastic , very high quality work ,were prompt and were very reasonable for the difficult work that needed to be done in my 120 year old home .i highly recommend this company and will without a Drought hire them again for future work .
