Voyage Construction

The work, as written on the contract, was not complete. I had to pay for work already covered in the contract when the work was **done**. Mr. Alexander did not practice professionalism and good communication with this project (Repairing/replacing fence.)

tile installed with different grout widths, tile installed with chips in it, tile height is not even, shower floor does not drain water all the way after use, shampoo insert also holds water and the shower door was installed crooked and does not close. The company offered to repair the issues if I paid an additional $1000.00! I declined and now the company owner Tyler Alexander has not responded to my inquiries about repairing the work. I will move forward with my legal recourse.

We had the worst experience with this company. The owner, Tyler Alexander, is rude, disrespectful and condescending. They did not complete the remodel that we contracted them to do. They bailed out half way through the job after we questioned the quality of their work and the damage that they did to our property. The workers fell through the second floor ceiling into the garage. When they attempted to repair the hole, they did a bad job of adjoining the sheetrock and didnâ t tape and float the repair. They broke the existing ceiling fan in the room. They wired an electrical outlet incorrectly and then left us without electricity at the end of their work day. The shower that we purchased was installed incorrectly because the wall that they put in was crooked. These men do not know how to measure. The back of the shower measures 47 inches and the entrance to the shower measures 49 inches. The first wall that they framed, had studs that didnâ t reach all the way to the ends, half of the screws were visible and the beam appeared to be floating. They would arrive late or leave for three to four hours in the middle of the day. We were originally told that the job would take 2-3 weeks and 3 ½ weeks later they were at about midpoint when they decided that they â were not experts and could not finish the jobâ --- exact quote from Tyler Alexander. It was a nightmare!

Very great company and super reliable

Awful craftsmanship, deplorable and frustrating communication. Voyage Construction earned atrocious for its management and attention to detail. If you want to endure living through and paying for a remodel nightmare hire Tyler and his crew at Voyage Construction. During demolition a live electrical wire was cut, which the foreman suggested should be repaired by simply taping it with electrical tape. This company cuts corners every chance they get, their finishing touches are an embarrassment to the building trait. In the end, I am left with a beautiful tile, horribly installed in my guest restroom. In addition, customers should be aware that I incurred additional costs for the electrical wire repair, tile trim, and grout in a desperate attempt to get a finished tile job. There are hardly words to express the frustration endured from start to finish of this restroom remodel nightmare.

I am very pleased with the work they did on my house.

They did a really good job and had good communication.
