This father/son team does incredible work, the build quality on the 6' wooden privacy fence was exceptional! While they may be a little more expensive than other quotes, know you are getting the best possible product for your money.

Mr. Barnhill came out gave me a quote on a new deck and repaint my shutters. Great price.. Everything went well with the deck. But when it came to the shutters that is a different story. It took a month to get my shutters back. To many stories about my shutters. His son Matt was to to paint the shutters. Once I talk to Mr. Barnhill he did made good on the problem by giving me some of my money back. Will I work with him again yes, not with shutters.

Barnhill builders are an extremely friendly father-son team who I had to build a fence for me and, months later, stain the fence. They did an excellent job with the fence so I had no issues with having them staining the fence later, and that is where the issues occurred. They gave me a quote, which they increased by 300 dollars after completing about a third of the work. They said it would be done in two days, but it took them almost two months to do it because they took so long to come back and complete it with it being partially done. They also did not finish the fence, the entire backside of the fence is still not cut in (see photos) and they have not been back. I recommend them for fence building, but I would encourage you to look somewhere else for painting/staining needs.

W. Barnhill Builders, LLC are hard working, dedicated to one project at a time to provide a home owner with a quality product, instead of rushing to move on to the next project. I valued their work ethic from the very beginning from the planning process- to the final product. I had several contractors come out to provide estimates and then I never heard or saw them again- waiting almost two years to get these project done. I finally gave up and then found Mr. Barnhill, i requested an appointment, and he immediately got back to me. I asked them to remove an old deck, replace a deck and front railings, and they had it in the works quickly for me. They were consistent with communication with both projects and always let me know their arrival and departures times. They found certain improvements that could be made, to keep my deck and porch in tip top shape, to avoid anymore rain water damages. They made these prevention's with no additional cost. I will always be a loyal customer to them for my home improvements! Two very happy ladies and happy doggies loving their new deck for summer!

W. Barnhill Builders exceeded my expectations. Walter and Matt were extremely professional. They tore down my wooden deck, built an elevated Trex deck in the same spot, and built a floating Trex deck beside the elevated deck. Their pricing was very fair, and they performed quality work in an efficient manner. Walter always texted me before he and Matt arrived, and he frequently asked me to inspect the progress outside to ensure that everything looked exactly as I wanted. I would absolutely hire Walter and Matt for future projects.
