Absolutely disrespectful of me and my time. Hired him to remodel my kitchen pantry, install a vent in my master bath, level some doors and a few random projects I needed done. Signed the contract December 15th with the understanding he would start by January 15. I work nights, I took 2 weeks off work so that his crew could have time to get everything done while I wasnt trying to sleep for work. He took my downpayment happily enough, then not once contacted me to let me know exactly when the crew was coming. I reminded him repeatedly of the time window I had to get the work done to no avail and all I hear is how this other big project is giving him headaches. If you didnt want to do the job all you had to do was say no or even when you couldn't get it scheduled apologize and give me my money back. But no, you just stalled until March when I told you dont come. The aggravation of trying to get him to actually do the work wasnt worth the 5k down I lost.
