About us

Our goal is to provide professional service to our clients. We know the purchase of a home is an important decision. We provide home inspection services to the entire state of South Carolina with a focus on the Longs, North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, Carolina Forest, Murrells Inlet, Pawleys Island, Surfside Beach, Horry County, Georgetown County, and York County areas. We are an affiliate member of the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors. We have Supra key access for the Grand Strand. My name is Dale Herendeen and I am a licensed South Carolina home inspector. My wife and I have strong ties to the area including five grandchildren that live in the area. We are proud to call South Carolina home. I bring a great deal of education and experience to the home inspection business. I am a degreed engineer with a MBA. In addition, I have 20 years of experience in the environmental field. We would appreciate the opportunity to provide our services to you and your family.

As a true professional in Home Inspection, Dale Herendeen arrived at a very remote location on time, asked every question necessary to begin his inspection, and immediately went to work. He checked every nook and cranny - interior, exterior, attic, and crawl space. He was thorough with structural, electrical, and plumbing issues. While some of Dale’s discoveries were terrifying, he also found more than enough structural attributes to warrant remodeling rather than bulldozing. His findings were thoroughly documented with pictorial proof in an all-inclusive report which was received within hours of his departure. Thank you, Dale, for the bad news, the good news, and the chance to remodel the not-so-ugly duckling into a safe, 21st century farmhouse for generations to come.
